If I have a budget of $30 per month, what would be the best configuration you could give me?

As the title suggests, if I have a budget of $30 per month, what is the best configuration you can provide for a US server?

    Interesting question @17yuns 👋

If you can write an SQL formula that quantifies best, I can execute it against 750,000 dedicated servers and give you some results.

I just want to see what kind of server I can buy with this budget, since the region is limited to the United States.> @davide said:

@17yuns If you can increase your budget to $35/mo then you can get the below server

    Intel Xeon E3-1240 V5
    32GB RAM
    1 TB NVMe
    1 Gbps Unmetered
    1 IPv4 + /64 IPv6
    Utah, USA
    $35

    or

    Intel Xeon D-1540
    64GB RAM
    1.88TB NVMe
    100 TB @ 1Gbps
    1 IPv4
    Kansas, USA
    $34

    or for $22

    E3-1240 v3
    32 GB RAM
    1.92 TB SSD
    100 TB @ 1Gbps
    1 IPv4
    Kansas, USA
    $22

    You can also checkout OVH, wholesaleinternet.net , nocix.net , scaleway.com

@ManishPant I don't have your $22 server on database, if there's anything you'd like promoted put it in the CMS :D

I currently have a 16H16G100ssd server that costs only $15 per month. I would like to increase my budget to $30 and choose a new service provider

Best? What metric do you want to optimize for?

Single-threaded CPU performance? Number of cores? Memory capacity? Storage speed? Storage capacity? Maximum port speed? Quality of upstreams? Location? Managed support? Licensed software?

I just wanted to inquire about the best configuration available for $30, such as 6-core 24GB memory and 100SSD located in Los Angeles, USA I want to see which one offers the best, and I would choose them

  • If you do not need high amount of bandwidth rsl $19 per month server is a good option

    E3-1240 v2
    32 GB RAM
    480GB SSD
    20TB @ 1Gbps
    1 IPv4
    Los Angeles CA
    $30/month

If the magic $30 number is essential, I could make a custom plan for you:

    1vCPU, 5GiB of memory, 160GiB of disk, 5TB/month transfer, IPv6 only

I think if you're after performance, you'll have better luck with almost any other host on here.

Servers with 16 cores and 128GB of RAM or more should be available.
