Looking for Seattle 10Gbps Dedicated Server

Hello LET,

I am currently looking for a dedicated server in Seattle, WA (USA) with the following specifications:

  • Location: Seattle
  • Network: 10Gbps dedicated port
  • Bandwidth: 100TB monthly traffic
  • Upstream: connected to GSL (Global Secure Layer)
  • DDoS Protection:
  • Always-on protection (40Gbps hardware-based firewall filtering with default ACL rules)
  • CPU: Dual Intel Xeon E5 (or equivalent)
  • RAM: 64GB–128GB
  • Storage: 1TB SSD or NVMe
  • Price: 200-250 USD per month

Background Information:

Previously, I was using Dedicated.com, where I purchased 8 servers at $179.99 each.

When I was preparing to resume operations recently, I noticed that the pricing had increased. I contacted their support to inquire about the change, and they informed me that pricing had been adjusted starting in January due to Washington state-related costs.

The updated total payment came to $229.18, which included:
$20.07 Washington state tax
$50 fee for 40Gbps local firewall protection
Approximately $8.18 PayPal processing fee

In the past, I always paid via cryptocurrency through BitPay without any issues. However, due to recent policy changes at BitPay, I am no longer able to access my account and therefore cannot use cryptocurrency payments.

We eventually agreed to proceed with PayPal, and I completed the payment accordingly.

However, within one hour after the payment was completed, my account was suddenly suspended without explanation. The PayPal payment was later refunded.

Due to this experience, I have decided not to continue working with Dedicated.com and am now seeking a reliable long-term provider.

What I Am Looking For:
Stable long-term cooperation
Transparent pricing (no hidden or excessive processing fees)
Flexible payment options
Always-on DDoS protection with local filtering capability

Professional and clear communication

If you can provide a solution that matches these requirements, please feel free to send me a quotation.

Thank you.

Thanked by 1DeepSeeks

Except no such agreement was made, and in fact you were informed that credit card and Paypal were off the table since you showed up with completely fabricated profile details. You made an active choice to ignore this.

We offered you wire, which has no risk for us, which you declined because it would "take too long" despite being same or next business day, depending on when you send it.

    Seller beware on this one.

In the past, I always paid using cryptocurrency and everything worked perfectly fine. This time, when I returned, I was unable to pay with crypto due to BitPay restrictions.

After that, we discussed the possibility of a wire transfer. During that conversation, your team clearly stated that you would not cover any additional fees, which I understood. Because of that, I chose to switch to PayPal and completed the payment.

However, about 30 minutes after the payment was made, my account was suddenly blocked without any clear explanation.

Now you are claiming that I provided fabricated profile information. If that were really the case, why were there no issues during all my previous transactions with you? At no point did I cause any financial risk or problems for your company.

But in the end, it's not a big deal. The market is large and there are many providers. I have already received a better offer elsewhere.

    I wish you the best.

Do they accept direct bitcoin payments (not through bitpay)? Maybe that could be a mutually agreeable solution

I've been renting a box with purevoltage in Seattle for probably a year now, no complaints, box only shut down once and it was easy enough to get ipmi access to reboot it myself.

I had already explained the issue earlier. I asked if they could provide a payment address so that once I completed the payment, they could proceed with setting up the server. Their response was: “No. Again, all of the options we offer are shown on your invoice. If it's not shown there, we don't offer it.”

At the time I didn’t realize they were clearly refusing PayPal payments. Because my business was urgent and I couldn’t wait any longer, I ended up paying with PayPal.

Shortly after that, I received a refund email. When I tried to log in to check what happened, my account had been locked. Today it was unlocked, and only then did I see the message they sent before locking it, stating they do not accept PayPal or credit card payments.

If their payment system used a self-hosted crypto payment gateway similar to BTCPay Server, a lot of this trouble could probably have been avoided.

Thanks as well to everyone who reached out via private messages with offers and suggestions I appreciate it.
