Hey if you want to give us some drama, at least give us the details. Some screenshots would be nice.
did you sent spam or used server for DDoS?
What screenshot do you want me to post? There aren't a lot of details, my server is suspended, and they don't reply to my ticket.
No DDoS or spam, I was just using their vps for hosting a small website, mainly because of their no DMCA policy.
How effin dare they?!
Lawsuit! Now!
@AvenaCloud
Any suspension of the service without notice is based on quite serious violations such as Spamhaus, Uceprotect, SpamCop, Botnet or Phishing (not to be confused with DMCA). In the server notes you can find the reason for the suspension.
and
I never thought I will see these words in one sentence together
I didn't do any spamming, botnet, phishing, or anything; this is just a website behind Cloudflare. I never had any issues with other providers.
This is my server panel on your website; it does not say anything https://postimg.cc/2q6MHKmz
I don't even want to get my server back; I just want access to delete all my files.
Simply one of the worst providers I ever worked with, you don't even reply to a simple ticket.
proof.
post screenshots.
Not surprising, they check tickets once a year

Uceprotect a serious violation? That's new to me.
If AvenaCloud considers uceprotect violations to be severe, that definitely helps me make up my mind. I was on the fence with them, but that's not good. I've gotten flagged by uceprotect when my server literally has an egress firewall that prevents it from connecting to any IPs except ones that it is 100% authorized to connect to.
It's been more than 10 days, and AvenaCloud not bothered to reply to my ticket!
twice as good as every other year
You can't put Spamhaus and serious violations in the same sentence. They have far too many false positives. You have to confirm for yourself the customer was spamming.
They blocked our account and accused us of hosting CP content without giving any evidence or forwarding any report.
Our website is based on user-generated content and is fully compliant with 18 U.S.C. § 2257. Any content that violates our policies is removed immediately.
A competent provider would forward any report to the client and provide a reasonable time to respond before suspending or blocking the account.
Last time i checked Moldova isn't in the USA, and American laws do not apply there.
So you wanted to avoid US laws or not? Hosting stolen content doesn't make you complaint with 18 U.S.C. § 2257, it by definition requires you to ID the "models" which you obviously don't do.
If you claim your site is US-laws complaint why wont you host it there?
DMCA ignore doesn't mean they allow child porn, even if child porn was legal in their country, they still wouldn't have to allow it. Were you hosting child porn?
We don't host any child porn; they suspend our account without any notice.
And even if there's any CP content report, they should report it to us, and then we remove the content and block the uploader.
Some providers, especially smaller or new providers, don't really understand and will terminate an account even if the offending content is uploaded by a third party. It's a trick that many people use to shut down websites they don't like: Post CP then report the website for hosting CP and the provider will panic and nuke everything.
Ironically, this actually rewards people who are willing to use that stuff as a weapon.
It seems that AvenaCloud doesn't have a support team, and they would block any account that causes them inconvenience.
That's from anonymous uploads. You host a website that allows anonymous uploads, without pre-moderation you did this to yourself.
Not really. Most websites that allow user-submitted content allow uploads that are not pre-moderated. In fact, it's fairly rare for all content to be manually examined first. Not that it matters, because even storing CP temporarily while it's in the moderation queue is against the ToS.
For the majority of reputable hosts, one two things happen when such a report is received:
Only a minority (usually very small, inexperienced, or cheap hosts) will immediately terminate the account.
The laws in most countries are written in order to penalize hosts that do not take enough action to prevent abuse of their services, not to completely eliminate any and all illegal material. Even a medium-sized social media site has far more CP on it than some random imageboard, but if 5% of that imageboard's content is illegal, it will get kicked off fast despite having a smaller total amount of illegal material. This is because the latter case would be a clear case of neglect whereas the former is inevitable. It's all about risk management.

You can’t really moderate thousands of uploads every day. Big platforms like Facebook and YouTube run huge (and expensive) AI models to try to detect illegal content, and even then, they still miss a lot of stuff. Expecting smaller websites to run systems like that is pretty unrealistic.
Not having the resources to do something properly is never an acceptable excuse to do it anyway.
And that is why we don't see people opening up massive social media platforms with a single moderator. But for a small site that allows user uploads, having a single moderator is proportionate.
My VPS has been suspended as well due to non-payment, even though I paid on time.
After I kept receiving due date warning emails, I opened a support ticket. That was days ago. Of course, there has been no response, and the service has now been suspended.
Now that’s what I call incompetence.
You should upload some screenshots at least!
do they have any documents to prov cp ?
