Stop gooning to @jar ffs
Sorry, @emgh 's not sending me enough nudes and I just couldn't hold back...
Why?
If I had to guess I'd say this didn't yield the expected result : https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4738878/#Comment_4738878
I would love to have that offer as my backup service, but it is what it is.
I didn't get the $15/3yrs offer, so this would be a second chance of getting this amazing value.
This deal was slightly better than the $15/3 year deal; since this deal was the same price but didn't require multi-year upfront payment.
I snagged this yesterday without even reading the thread at the time (buy first read later lol), I saw some random words in the promo name and thought it was a bug, only to realize now it was all drama lmao
That thread was closed 10 hours later though.
But you can always upgrade the $15/3yr to a bigger Black Friday promo package when needed, like the $30/3yr package, something which most likely is not possible with this one. So both deals are special in their own way lol
I don't think the BF $15 package is upgradable to the BF $30 package.
It is, I checked.
Where's the picture of @jar with Fringe bangs?
Hmm, I thought you could only buy a promotional plan while the promotion is active. And my understanding was that even then it isn't an upgrade but rather a purchase of a new plan. (And any transfer of data from one plan to another is the customers responsibility.)
Where do you see the option to upgrade?
Fuck.
That's power.
They're making another Boondock Saints!

new promotion at double the price
He'll be back. He's hoping he can strong-arm the admin into deleting criticism of his behavior on TrustPilot (just drama, nothing to do with the quality of his service) under the threat of cancelling his provider tag payments, as he threatened to do in another thread. I suspect that, when he calms down, he'll be back and everything will return to normal.
can not stop smile when login to account
Disclaimer: I have paid @jar the equivalent cost of four Starbucks grande cold brews and received years of impeccable, unmatchable and totally hand-off reliable email services in return. I have never had a conversation (verbal or online) with him, maybe he answered a ticket once.
No one will ever agree 100% with someone else's approach to things, but even when I disagree with something I have seen @jar say or do on LET, I admire that it is both consistent with his prior stated philosophy and predictable for me to rely upon as a customer.
No one cares more about providing quality email and we are lucky to be able to have him provide services to us for a ridiculously small amount of money.
LET as a business, in my opinion, under-punishes bad guys and under-rewards good guys, but hey, that's my opinion, and hey, they're running a for-profit business.
For we end-users of LET, it would be a huge loss if @jar stays away. Hopefully his many fans here will make sure that doesn't happen.
Yes, what I meant is that for @jar to go from joking to rage quiting LET without an apparent trigger, there must have been something happening in private messages with mods/admins. It's a guess.
Considering the current market crisis, maybe 2026 might be a good year for any provider to take a break from LET. Maybe that is what Jarland actually has in mind.
It might be regret for setting the price so low for that very reason. He effectively sold under market price in order to advertise his beef, so maybe he's calmed down and just realized he threw money away.
Your argument does not stand. If that was valid, then he would have set a very limited quantity to prove a point, then would have not added extra stock in the process. Besides such low-end offers were offered in the past, with the same reason of giving back to community (stated in this very thread).
@jar has a history of people popping up in the threads he is in, to shit on his company. Not saying these people were right or wrong but there's a build up I think. The wyvern guy was perhaps the last straw. @forest I think you are making assumptions which do not take into account years of history on LET.
Considering how much profit he makes, any loss from this promotion is miniscule and negligible. When you are relatively stable, you don't mind taking a few hit while establishing a point. He has just done that.
It was just speculation, not an argument. I have no idea one way or the other.
He already threatened to quit even prior to that. He just followed through, I suppose.
I still suspect he'll be back.
