Not AI, using NI - Natural Intelligence mostly.
Definitely a better option in the long term

I think it depends on where you live and the surrounding circumstances. In the United States and many large countries, people complain about corporations using their data to train AI. In more restrictive countries, the government may monitor citizens’ internet and AI usage more directly. The level of choice and oversight varies by political system, but that distinction is often overlooked. Take North Korea for example, the people living there have limited personal AI access, but AI watches them around the clock. They train the AI, but they have no choice.
It seems to me that Copilot is cost effective
We are being programmed by the darkside, slowly but steadily getting less and less skeptic to synthetic fabricated information. Epstein did this. So lets invade greenland.
Gemini
I have been using Gemini recently almost everyday. I have ChatGPT go 1 year plan, but I don't even log into ChatGPT by mistake.
Chatgpt for me right now but I also appreciate Grok.
I'm so integrated into GPT it's hard to move.
For those who have moved models how challenging was the transition? How did you export your data?
Here to learn from others which models to use 😝
So I tried that antigravity IDE by google previously mentioned here. I have been using the Gemini 3 Flash for 35+ questions for less than 12 hours. My usage bar has not changed any, so I am assuming it is unlimited questions? I haven't tried the other models yet.
I am a free user, the answers are actually good at teaching and detailed. It handles general questions inside IDE pretty well too, outside of coding.
The latest Gemini 3 Pro surpasses other tools. What I like most is its ability to handle and analyze thousands of uploaded pages really well
Just giving google access to emails is bad enough, but giving away every aspect of your life's data to an AI company? what a disaster.
None to protect my privacy
You forgot to mention the biggest corporation of them all: the Communist Party of China. Compared to that one all other corporations look puny and pale no matter how rich and ill intentioned they might be.
They (the CPC) implemented and operate the world's largest, most sophisticated and most powerful mass surveillance system, they do that very effectively producing the intended desired results, always improving.
All done with the precious help of AI which is being trained and perfected by the surveilled citizens themselves. Maquiavel would have loved it.
ok jeez like brah yo boy out here just tryna make robot write da code u get me
The AI I use the most (excluding coding projects) is Grok. The web interface is easily the best of all the major AI providers, and just the way it interacts with you is so much better than ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. And yes, it can write spicy stuff the others will refuse to... but touch grass and go find a real person who wants to sleep with you, it's not that hard.
Worth mentioning that with the most recent updates, Grok integrates well with Tesla. I can literally just tell Grok to find my a local coffee shop with good pastries on the way home and it'll research them, pick one, and update the route - then FSD drives you there.
Beyond that, for AI integrations I've done for my business and others, the xAI API has been rock solid and reasonably priced for me for integration with my business and client web applications. They're also iterating VERY quickly so if you have a problem or find a particular deficiency, changes are, next week your issue will be resolved.
For coding projects, I initially used GitHub Copilot, then at some point switched to Claude Code because it's far more stable. But, whether you pay for their $20/mo or $200/mo plan, Anthropic's usage limits are very restrictive. So recently I'm back to GitHub Copilot. When Claude was by far the best for coding it made sense to use it, but now they don't have a clear lead anymore. And over time Copilot has improved - I'm not getting errors on a daily basis anymore.
GitHub Copilot gives you A LOT of usage across many great models for $40/month. I love that I can switch between all the best frontier models for different tasks or problems, and revert to cheaper/older models for basic tasks. For a while OpenAI was putting out nothing useful for web development but GPT 5.3 Codex is REALLY good. Gemini's latest Pro models are also impressive. And of course you can still use Claude models through Copilot if you choose to.
At the end of the day I think you have to use the right tool for the job, and as you use different solutions and models you'll learn what works best for you and what the strengths and weaknesses are. No one AI provider, model, or tool is perfect for everything and everyone.
I use Perplexity PRO, ChatGPT, Claude and occasionally Grok and DeepSeek.
Wrong in the sense that in your context, you are the subject (whom AI will train itself upon) and NOT the tool but AI is still the tool.
AI is a tool that uses you as a tool. You are both tools.
By that logic, every entity in universe is a tool because there is minimum a 2 way relationship when you involved with someone/something. Based upon which spectrum you stand on, each will be a tool.
None, I don't wish to use or fund something that works against me.
I'd like to not pay 3-5x the price for RAM and storage again.
Adaptation is something that one must implement at times in my opinion. In order to fight against the enemy, you need to survive first.
I don't need to use AI at all so there is nothing to survive against, the things I could use it for would save me very minimal time if any at all.
The enemy wins if I start using AI instead of learning how to do things myself.
Just use free tier. It would just increase the potential revenue and add opex.
The day of reckoning will come when they realize that building excess capacity doesn't make sense. It's impossible to absorb capex if the utilization rate is below 25%, 20%, or even 10%. Their customers would demand discount if there's a newer GPU with more VRAM, which means less I/O wait, despite bigger opex
Most of the free tiers are so limited that it is not even worth the time. And this is ignoring that using the free tier is still assisting with the training and development of AI.
If they were willing to pay me to sit and baby their model while providing feedback for its suggestions, then it would be different. It also increases their need for more server resources, even if small, so again works against me.
Where did you get 10 % utilization being a realistic figure from?
That's why puppeteering matters. It may costs you few dollars to purchase $0.99 numeric .xyz, then purchase cheap voip (or sim if possible), then register at as much as AI platform if possible (which require phone #). Repeat few times if necessary. Then, write a puppeteer to automate things like, please make a summary of this reddit thread. Then ask explanation of controversial comment given previous conclusion... It's going to cost lots of token. Or, just fed it random government text and ask it to translate to other language. It definitely will cost them more than monthly voip fee...
Copilot is better than any other AI in the field of Free AI. I always prefer to use VS Code for coding. But Gemini is also good for Study.
It's a lot more effort than it is worth just to use something that has largely produced garbage from the few times I have used it.
