That notorious outfit, CharityHost, is back with another promotion on the NodeSeek forums.
in General
I decided to take another gamble on their latest "promo" VPS to see if anything has truly improved under the so-called "new management." Spoilers: the numbers don't lie.
Here I go again, trying to buy their "promo" VPS.

"Josh" (allegedly the new owner) mentioned in the promotional thread:

Yet, here are the results from my own test:

Surprisingly, this run looks much better than my last one.

Since some of the original images were lost, I’ve retrieved the content of the post from https://host.charity/.
Let's take a look at the full YABS test results.

Do you think CharityHost has actually changed? Or is this just the same wine in a new bottle?

Comments
How did nodeseek users react?
Any charity donors left?
Here is the original promotional thread posted by CharityHost on NodeSeek: https://www.nodeseek.com/post-629178-1
Someone asked about the provider's "selling points," and the community replied: "Too much dirty history."
persistent sob.
Anyway @Donald2018, considering the previous history. It's possible your instance is deployed on node with better storage. But, it looks like the network aren't good either.
not bad,if u just use VPN
I am currently using an OVH KS-5 in the Singapore region.
I see
i agree with this.
...
You and the other hundred users all running tests at the same time.
Whatever complaints you have about him as a business or person is one thing, but you're on a shared resource, so you should expect lower benchmarks than his test on a probably idle system.
