    Same here!

  • bad news

At OVHcloud, we want to mitigate the impact of these component price increases to prevent our Cloud (Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Bare Metal) from becoming too costly. That's why, for the Cloud we will be deploying between 2026 and 2028, we have decided to increase prices less than the actual costs of RAM and disks. The price of our Cloud between 2026 and 2028 will therefore increase, on average, by only 9% to 11%. To compensate, we plan to slightly impact the prices of the Cloud deployed between 2021 and 2025, by an average of 2% to 6%, depending on the age of the hardware, and to slightly adjust the prices of IPv4. We hope this will make the pricing for the 2021-2028 ranges acceptable, with a return to normal expected in 2029.

  • I just paid for my servers for the year to avoid the price increases!!

  • Given the price hike, I'm told @TomasSystems is planning to drop 2-3 of the LE-B 1270-v6, 64GB, Hybrid & NVMe boxes plus an LE-E.

I had first dibs but got no need for any MOAR

So when you switch from monthly to yearly, do you pay straight away for the year or do they wait for your current month to run out before billing you for a whole year?

😭 Price increases everywhere... Too bad...

2-6% doesn't sound bad at all. Even a 100% increase on lottery LE-B's is way below market rate

It keeps your current expiry date and adds a year to that date. But you pay a year upfront at the current price.

Could do with another Atom KS1 with 2TB if anyone is looking to get rid of it.
