Transfer KS-STOR (retired range) 4x 4TB + 500GB NVMe

Today I was notified that the backup server in France is no longer online. After investigating, I realized that 16TB is no longer enough to store the backups, so I’m forced to upgrade.

Since the KS-STOR line with 4x4TB + 500GB NVMe is no longer available, I think it would be a shame to let this server expire without being used by someone 🙂

Commercial name: KS-STOR | Intel Xeon-D 1521
Memory: 16 GB ECC 2133 MHz
Storage: 4×4 TB HDD SATA + 1×500 GB SSD NVMe
Location: Roubaix, France
Pricing: 23.99EUR/mo (ex. VAT)
OVH account: IE/Europe
Renewal: 3 March 2026
Price: 36EUR Crypto / PayPal F&F

Thanks but looking for something a little cheaper with NVMe

  • Ill be really interested in this. Is there a way to sign up an OVH EU account without buying a product from them?

  • The KS-STOR line is still available.

You're right, I relied on my API without realizing that I was only scraping the "FRA" region.
Apparently there is no (anymore?) 4TB range at 24EUR in this region, only the one at 40 EUR.

    Good discovery anyway.

    Thanks!

Later edit: Nevermind, it seems my scrapper didn't match the free addon correctly and used the 6TB disk even though it shouldn't have.

  • I have the same KS-Stor in Europe (France – Roubaix), and honestly it works great.

The Ultrastar HDD drives, even though they already have quite a few hours on them, are still performing flawlessly.

    Isnt this available online.

  • @anandfire_hot_man

It is still available directly w/ OVH - albeit with low stock and some/most locations oos.

But @fredo1664 also said this before here.

    Close request.

I got screwed by vibecoding, it created a buggy script that ordered a server with identical setup with one year paid in advance instead of upgrading the disks as intended.
