Looking for a low-priced Swiss VPS

I'd like to use a Swiss IP VPS with my .ch domain to host some simple websites. Are there any Swiss VPS options around $15/year, or NAT VPS under $5 that support ports 80/443? Thank you.

Annual ,If the monthly payment is this price, I'd rather buy the OVH.

Is this monthly or annual budget.
If its annual, its little hard to get a deal in this budget.

Annual,I feel like Switzerland is much more expensive than other parts of Europe, is that right?

Not possible at the price you're asking. For me @aluy has worked well so far in Switzerland.

They recently did a promo thread and the code seems to still be active.
Discounted prices start at €1.84/month for smallest 512MB VM. That's like $25/year (+ VAT if applicable).
However I would recommend getting at least 1GB if you want to host a website.

  • Not possible

  • OK I pay $54/3y to Hosthatch for CH location, which makes is $18/y but it is pretty difficult to snatch these. However, yes, getting a cheaper CH vps is a challenge.

  • One of my servers was affected by this and it seems to have been resolved, at least for me.

Cheapest i could find is (appart of free oracle) https://netgrid.host/vps-switzerland
However, i have not used them, and its probably some of russian .hosting sister sites. You can buy for 1 month and test them.
Also there is 1 euro plan with the.hosting but KYC is mandatory

Thanks, However, I can't see the €1 plan on the.hosting website. It's listed on the page, but I can't see it when I open the order page. Do I have to complete KYC before I can see the plan?

Thanks, I've completed the KYC verification and seen this package. I noticed they have many VPS servers in rare regions, How is the price-performance ratio of these VPSs? Besides Switzerland, are there any other recommendations?

The.hosting used to be Pq.hosting and was sanctioned by the EU. They are a Russian company using various shell companies in Romania (or Moldova, I forget which) and the Netherlands to evade sanctions. I do not have direct experience with their servers, have heard that performance was permissible for the cost, but there is a reason I haven’t given them my business and do not plan to.

Lots of companies that are sanctioned should not have been. It's a pretty bad metric to go by on its own. But THE.hosting also fakes many of their locations and is otherwise pretty crappy, so that alone is an important reason to avoid them.

To each their own but, yea... I don't even care about them faking locations. Their service is not even good. So much overselling and cpu steal.

They were exposed in Moldova so they ended up getting shutdown and rebranded to the.hosting and are operating under WorkTitans B.V. an NL company

They still managed to keep their upstreams
