Use of bots or scripts for posting. All activities, including posts, thread creation, PMs, etc., must be human in nature. Members found engaging in forum-related activities using bots, scripts, or any form of automation will be banned.

Is this rule still active? Asking for an AI friend.

Notice that this rule only applies to Member.
However, not every account is a Member.

    • @FAT32 is above the law because the account is not a Member but a “Deal Compiler Extraordinaire”.
    • @default is above the law because the account is not a Member but a “Veteran”.
    • @HostSlick is above the law because the account is not a Member but a “🚩 Patron Provider Tag Suspended”.
  • On this forum, there’s a full-on political brawl going on in The Russia vs Ukraine thread — let’s not derail other threads
Yet moderator @angstrom is banning me from having my own signature, where I simply stated that only the Communist Party can save Africa from hunger and global warming
    That’s a fact!
China even feeds and clothes the USA and many other countries

I strongly disagree with the moderator silencing me and discriminating against me
Therefore, I’m issuing a warning to moderator @angstrom and calling on him to respect the universal values of free citizens!

    No to Putin!
    No to Trump!
Glory to the Communist Party of China!
    Amen

Why are you inclined to sing praises to the CCP on a hosting forum?

    • Posts that violate LowEndTalk's rules may be closed or removed, and warnings may be issued at the discretion of the moderators. Repeated or serious violations may lead to further actions.

Recently there have been some threads removed without any notice or information what rules they violated. This left some more engaged community members confused.
For example Mevspace - their threads disappear pretty fast and @ascicode even noticed that here.

Their thread which got removed yesterday:

    image

For the future, could we get more insights on why such threads are removed or what rules they violated?
I think a note of the OP profile or thread closure (instead of removal) would be a good way to approach it.
I've seen that done before but recently some threads just disappear.

Obviously if the thread is "selling residential RDP access for $3/m" opened by someone with only member tag, the situation is rather clear, no explanation needed. But most cases aren't that obvious.

Thank you for consideration, I deeply appreciate the work of moderators here.

Also, why is that thread no longer pinned? Is this intentional?

edit: as I was writing this comment, another thread got removed. No clue why :/

I think cc resellers must be immune.

The provider didn't wait 14 days between offers, I'm afraid

Although it wasn't me who removed that thread, I think that it was removed because @Mevspace didn't follow sub-rules 3--7 of

    https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/153228/rules-for-selling-on-lowendtalk-updated-04th-sep-2018/p1#offerrules

I'll just note that this has been pointed out to them before, so if they continue to post according to their old habit, then they do so at their own risk

(Ironically, it's not clear whether they noticed the missing thread -- see https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4518331/#Comment_4518331 :o )

If an offer thread just disappears, then it's because the offer breaks one or more of the sub-rules for offers

Thank you very much @angstrom :)

Just to be clear, I'm not defending anyone who posted a thread which got removed.
Some providers treat LET as SEO boost without respecting rules about describing their offers appropriately.

However I think, warnings should be issued if that's the case.
Maybe they are not aware they're breaking the rules or don't pay enough attention.
If they get a warning they could at least know what to change next time when posting an offer. Or eventually get tag suspended if they keep ignoring forum rules.

  • I have conducted some evaluations from a Chinese Provider who I would like to share with everyone, but the merchant does not have a Patron Provider label for LET. So the question is, can I do this

For the record, @Mevspace did receive a warning in July saying what they should pay attention to, but apparently, it didn't have much impact

In general, it's not a total mystery to providers if their offers are removed, and I at least try to say why I remove an offer (if I remove an offer)

That said, we don't have the habit of warning providers but of letting their offers remain nevertheless

If they cant post properly, they shouldnt be allowed anymore. But thats too hard.

The rules with regards to bots and scripts and AI do not apply outside LET, to platforms like ServerVerify or others.

You may not need a Patron Provider for this, but you would need to obtain permission for this -- see https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/137719/lowendtalk-community-rules-updated-september-2025/p1#giveaways

  • Hi! I’m new here. But definitly not new when it comes to servers and whatnot.

I make this comment to point out a problem that prevents new people from signing up to lowendtalk.

My first signup attempt got denied. I was really confused because i got no email why,

my account just was straight up deleted..

after thinking about what might went wrong from my end i figured out i still had my vpn enabled!

I always have a vpn running in my router to protect myself from ddos attack and goverment. Im no criminal i just prefer privacy and secure internet that doesnt get shutdown/censored. Also today many people use vpn by default.

My second signup attempt at lowendtalk went flawless, after filling in the ‘why signup box’ stating its my second attempt to register an account and i turned vpn off.

My suggestion would be that if a vpn is a problem that the register form shows clearly you need to shutoff the vpn before proceeding.

From a system admin perspective i completely see why you would ban vpns because they get abused alot but at the same time vpns are now very common these days and not everyone is out to get You!

I just wanted to share this because it left a soure taste in my mouth i have no bad intentions. And this results in many innocent people getting their signup rejected causing a decrease in population at lowendtalk.

Thank you for letting me vent!

LET/LEB has a really bad email delivery problem. outlook suddenly stopped delivering emails from LET for me about 2 year ago now (it's been so blissful I hope they never fix it)
