Hardware Sale - Dell PowerEdge R620, Dual E5-2620, 64GB RAM, 4x 600GB SAS - FiberState SLC DC
Hi,
We have had this server for our internal use, and no longer needed. You can colocate this with FiberState or get it shipped out to another DC. I will accept any reasonable offer for this server.
Dell PowerEdge R620, Dual E5-2620, 64GB RAM, 4x 600GB Dell SAS inside FiberState SLC DC.
Was brought as refurbished/like new conditions from ServerMoney a few years ago.
This server also has PERC H710 512MB Lvl 0-60 Int RAID, Dual Dell 12G 495 Watt PSU, iDRAC7 Enterprise, Dell R620 Bezel, and Dell R620 Sliding Rails Kit.
This thing is very rock solid. ![]()

OMG
$25
How much you're looking for?
3500BDT bKash payment available
How many amps does it use?
It ran on 1 amp while I was using it.
Just looking for reasonable offers that would exceed the Dual PSU and SAS drive current market price. Nothing crazy.
obsolete dude, trash it.
It's in very good condition. Why waste it?
why have a server when you can have a virtual one. They are much lighter and less noisy.
Had some offers.
Looking for $350 USD now.
You can get these with similar config from eBay under $250-300 in the US.
Well, this unit is a certified refurbished from ServerMoney and cost me $700+ when I bought it.
I could go down a bit if you're buying it.
You got a bad deal and shouldn't expect other people to also get a bad deal. This is worth maybe $150, and even then it's only "worth" $150 to someone wanting an e5v2 ewaste server for funsies. I'm sure Fiberstate will derack and dispose of the server for you for free.
700 is a bad deal now. It was fine a few years ago.
Hi,
yes, sorry, but the value is basically 0. DDR3, CPU eating too much power for too low performance.
The colocation cost will be high ( or higher ) compared to just lease a physical dedicated server and get a more recent CPU and outdated small and slow disks where you wont have to hassle with potential repairs.
Without doubt, its solid hardware. But for what use case? 2x 600 GB disk + 12 cores CPU's ( as dual!!! ) for ~ 250Watt power usage and a cpu power that is lower than if you rent 2 cores Ryzen VPS...
Dont get me wrong, i wish you to get money out of it. But if someone is ready to buy this, then just give it.. dont wait until this one changes his mind because you hope to get more somewhere else....
I know, we already moved things away from this server.
Btw, it used 1 amp while I was using it.
It was fine in 2016 maybe.
I considered throwing you a $150 offer for it, but that's mainly because it's already at Fiberstate, and would have been contingent upon them agreeing to collocate it. I decided against it because the drives just aren't big enough to make use of. Why use a processor that old for anything other than storage?
I can tell that i still have some 2620's in production. Still great machines, but slowly discontinuing. And since RAM prices, will not be soon...
Still available.
Looking for $300
Last price $250
If I can't sell it soon, I will strip it down for parts and recycle the rest.
