This offer came about from customers requesting to stack resources on their current VMs, so we decided to offer it as a promotion since we just spun up a new batch of nodes, seems to be going well.

Oh that's awesome! But let's say on those $7/year if we request something to be doubled what will then be the new renewal price say for double storage (if available)? Will it still be 7$ ? Sorry if i'm not understanding this offer correctly. Love the 2 vps's i have with y'all

All good, man! Correct, after the upgrade the new renewal price is the original plus the upgrade, so $14 a year. However, we do pro-rate the upgrade invoice to match up with the original. Thanks for the question!

The access and template issues were resolved by Danny and team and I now have a working 2TB storage VPS. So far it's working well. Credit to Danny and co for pursuing and fixing the issues with the new nodes.
