Looking for small VPS in Amsterdam (1C/2G)
I am reading LowEndTalk already for years (unregistered), but now looking for a small virtual machine with the following parameters:
- VPS provider is a fully Dutch- or EU-based company or sole trader
- Data center in Amsterdam (preferably fully owned by some Dutch- or EU-based company)
- 1 Core/vCPU (not dedicated, supporting at least x86-64-v3 for Rocky Linux 10)
- 2 GB RAM
- ~ 30 GB SSD (something between 20 and 40 GB would be fine)
- 1 Gbit/s port (not dedicated, one or the other TB traffic per month)
- 1x IPv4 (RIPE-based, configurable reverse DNS)
- 1x /64 IPv6 (RIPE-based, configurable reverse DNS, does not matter if IPv6 on-link or routed)
- Webbased interface for start/stop/reset, webbased VNC and ISO image selection
- UEFI-based boot would be nice for Rocky Linux 10

- Outbound SMTP (25/TCP) would be nice for one or the other cron mail to myself
- ~ 12-15 EUR annually (plus VAT, slightly above might be still considerable)
- Annually (or biennially) payment via SEPA direct debit, PayPal, SEPA transfer or credit card
If you are worried about spam, you could restrict outbound SMTP to the two IP addresses (IPv4/IPv6) of my MX record (even not allowing outbound SMTP by default with explicit request ticket and separate one-time setup fee would be fine).
Data centers outside but somehow closed to Amsterdam might also be fine (but then, please, closer to Amsterdam than to Germany and Belgium).
If your service "just works" our only contact will be regulary invoices/payments and there will be no abuse, questionable or shady usage from my side. Yes, many might claim that...but hey, you could reference my contact data in RIPE inet(6)num objects ![]()
I am aware that it's a quite challenging request, feel free to send offers via private message...also if they do not exactly match my list above. And if you have a question that might be interesting for others, just raise it here.

Some that come to mind, may not meet all your requests but...

If you have a slightly larger budget, we can definitely help you! We are a Belgian company with locations in The Hague and Amsterdam.
@Chunkserve I'd say. Xeon Gold NVMe Special 1 (aff) (non-aff)
@spectraip
Do you have any personal experience with them? https://lg.chunkserve.com is unfortunately unreachable since at least 2025-12-06 even I pointed it out to them in their chat on their website.
The VPS itself is stable for me, but getting Reverse DNS for IPv6 working took them quite some time (but appears to have finally been sorted out by now). Critical service-level issues seem to get sorted out quickly, but anything else can take time for support to get to.
Pretty stable when it works..but when it does not. Mine crashed a few times without an obvious reason and remained offline until I manually turned it on in the panel. Support is slow, tickets can be unanswered for weeks. You constantly have to remind about tickets here, which is strange. Overall, it is more headache for me than anything else.
vps work fine. depends on which node you are on maybe. my only trouble were random shutdown once or twice a month (maybe, not really put a log on it). had to open panel and manually start it from there.
they are migrating from virtualizor to virtfusion (idk when, since mine still in virtualizor last I checked. Can put ticket to put ahead of queue, but I need more uptime than other 'cause I use it daily)
