How to get low Colocation Bandwidth Costs
Hi guys!
I'm in the EU and bandwidth cost for colocations are really high.
I want to ask to people or Providers who have servers , how I can in Europe get low prices for flat 1gbps or flat 10gbps.
Here in EU for 10gbps flat on colocations the cost is around 1500€ (only bandwidth).
I'm at this point planning to ship equipment overseas to the US since prices are that high.
What's the best option?
Do you recommend some DataCenter in Europe with fair Bandwidth pricing?

Location and transit provider matters.
Cogent/HE is not gonna have the same price as DTAG, for example.
Which provider (ASN) and which metro is it that you're getting a EUR1500 quote for 10G flat? Perhaps you can share that information and the community can chime in on whether it's worth the price or not?
In Amsterdam, you can get 10G flat for as low as EUR389.00 from these guys, as one example.

Eranium (Hybula) are a top quality connectivity provider and their prices are a bit higher (EUR950 for 10G flat), but their connectivity and peering are of better quality.

FDC is another somewhat decent provider. You can see the pricing on their site, 10G flat is $499/mo, location-dependent of course.

Zet.net is a decent Tier2 provider and has 10 Gbps download and 1 Gbps upload for ~39 Euros and with 2 Gbps upload for ~59 Euros, all of it flat.
Several datacenters in Europe as well.
Cogent can do 10/10 flat at around 150 USD monthly on special campaigns (which only depend on the commercial talking to you), though you could have some NRCs. Zet.net may be a little higher in USD but you will also get better network, especially on IPv6. All of this pricing is with large commitments, 12/24 months.
Bandwidth-wise, Germany will be significantly expensive on what pertains to DE-CIX, France can reach near half the cost of Germany. Your cheapest options: London (you'll need to know where to look), Amsterdam, Poland I believe can be reasonably cheap as well, providers with their own DC and uplinks at around 100+ Gbps...

Just FYI: 1500 EUR is roughly our price for 10G 95/5 DDoS protected traffic. It all depends on whether you need DDoS Protection. We've offered 10G 95/5 for 500 EUR /month without DDoS Protection in the past.
