Is it possible to load one from the control panel?..
Nope - that's why I suggested reinstall.sh, then you can boot netboot.xyz from the VNC console, pick your distro, and do your own thing... which is exactly what I did.
They "don't advise" doing that cuz they don't want to be on the hook to support it - I get it.
