I think it's just one guy who's in over his head. I don't believe he's a scammer (the VPS I bought from him is running just fine), but it did take a few weeks for him to answer a ticket about the network being broken, so clearly he's got a huge backlog to deal with.

  • Yesterday, I ordered a VPS, and it has not yet been delivered. I opened a support ticket and have received no response so far.

Invoice 4441 / Order Number: 5679035416 / [Ticket ID: RUQ-855614] When will you activate it?

The guy behind Chunkserve. It's a fine company and my VPS is running well, but the owner does seem a bit slow at replying to tickets.

Yeah you are right. The vps is stable to me. I only have one issue, which made me I cant use the vps. which is proxied domains in cloudflare can't reach the hosting panel in my vps. if no proxied they work fine. Chunk did one time a re-route and worked for about a week and we back to same problem.
I'm waiting for a response from him. LOL

  • I can clearly see @Chunkserve lurking around in this forum. But absolutely no reply on tickets & Discord. My one VM is completely down & others have some issue. Ticket has no response for around a month now. Is any action required against this host ?

    Hey,
aiming to reply to you by tomorrow. It would be done today, however we focused entire time on security audit & implementing additional policies to isolate virtualizor instance & prepare for migration to another hypervisor.

I am worried about the Virtualizor situation.
It is also inconvenient that VNC can not be used.
When will you be able to completely break away from Virtualizor?

Hey! That's a great question. I totally understand your concerns.

First of all - since yesterday we moved our focus on auditting and strengthening the infrastructure. We tried automating migration from Virtualizor to Virtfusion. There are a lot of nodes and servers, and it's nearly not possible to do it manually at a reasonable time. At the moment, there are some major issues to do it without downtime/minimal downtime. Additional issue is, that VF cannot be installed on top of Virtualizor - and that is making the operation a bit more compliated too.

For now, we prepared fresh node (will be available tomorrow/on Tuesday), where Virtfusion will be installed. New orders will be provisoned there. Also, without any fee, we will be able to move existing customers upon request then. I'm going to inform when we can process such requests. This will be however migration with downtime, as new service needs to be created, connected to billing, disk must be converted and moved etc.

Additonally - I'm aware that some support tickets are stuck in the queue. Since yesterday, we processed around half of them, but there are still some to do (mostly fixing auto-deployment fails, or older cases as ie. @Caztiel one that he mentioned yesterday). I'll try solving high-prio today, and other tomorrow/tuesday. I can also compensate that.

Replied to you back. But its not solution. New server still crash and down.

  • My support ticket has been unanswered for over 4 weeks.

I see Chunkserve say they have replied to some tickets during the 4 weeks. This makes it seem like Chunkserve does a cherry pick of tickets to reply to and then ignores others.

Due to this, I’ve decided not to renew the relating VPS and post on here to document my experience.

Ticket #HFF-898463, please transfer one my servers (NL) to a fresh node with Virtfusion.

or all servers should be transferred same time ?

Oooh, I'd volunteer for a move to virtfusion! Don't have any data on mine to worry about at the moment. Can we just put in a ticket for that?

    Hey!
We're now merging 2 virtualizor nodes to make space for another virtfusion one. At the moment we're going to move it on request. Servers should work a lot better and far more stable on the new VF cluster. We should make the first VF node up in ~1.5-2hrs, then we will process tickets regarding service issues (most of the cases should be solved by moving to VF). I'll inform there once it's available to do :)

It'd be already done, but we were responding for critical RAID array corruption on one of the servers. All services are restored by now.

Should be up since some time. If no, provide the IP and will be fixed!
