KhanWebhost Worst hosting provider ever.

I'm registered with many hosting companies over decade now, from biggest one to single man project like the beloved @Cam (Gullo's Hosting) etc..

But these people claims to be professional had real company organize team ( sales/support/billing ) but in reality they're not able do do simple task in hosting business (or any business) which is make your server/service ready before offer it to people pushing it.

So I'm writing this review to share my real experience with them so other won't be scammed like I am.

Summary of what happened.

The VPS I purchased was not usable from the moment it was delivered.
The issue was not caused by me, but by their own infrastructure (Virtualizor / panel side).
Despite requesting a refund after 18 hours and losing hope on their support (until now they didn't reply on my support ticket) within their advertised 48-hour refund period, my refund was denied.
What happened

I ordered a Turkey 256MB NAT VPS and tried to log in immediately after receiving the details.

Problems found right after delivery:

The assigned NAT SSH port 24721 did not work (No route to host)
NAT rules were not applied
SSH was publicly accessible on port 22, which should never happen on a NAT VPS
The VPS was completely unusable for its intended purpose

I opened Ticket #553659 immediately.
The ticket stayed open with no reply for a long time.

Later, on their chat box, they admitted that:
The issue was caused by Virtualizor / libvirt not assigning IPs
This was a provider-side issue, not user-side

Support experience
First reply came after ~12 hours, and it was just:
“Please leave the password in ticket”
I waited over 24 hours while they said they were “checking with Virtualizor”
No clear ETA, no proper handling, no proactive solution
I had to chase them through live chat and WhatsApp

They later suggested:
Moving my VPS to another location (Singapore / India)
I refused, because:
I ordered Turkey
The service was broken since delivery
I had already lost time
Refund issue
I requested a refund within 48 hours, exactly as advertised.
Response from them:
Refunds are only for PayPal / card
Crypto refunds are not possible
This limitation was not clearly stated before payment
Important point:
If crypto refunds are “impossible”, they should not advertise Accepting it, but refusing refunds is scam tactic.

Final outcome
Service was delivered broken
Issue was entirely provider-side
Support was slow and unprofessional
Refund was denied despite being within policy
My original support ticket is still unresolved

Based on this experience, I do not recommend this provider.
Selling services that are broken from day one and then refusing refunds (when you explicitly advertising refund within 48 of ordering the service ) is a serious red flag for everyone.

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience — we’re sorry this order did not go smoothly. However, we’d like to clarify a few important points for accuracy:

    • Your VPS was deployed automatically after purchase. Shortly after delivery, you reported a networking/NAT issue.

    • Our team confirmed this was caused by a recent update of Virtualizor Portal beacuse of it libvirt bug affecting IP assignment on turkey server. This was not user-side, and we escalated it immediately to Virtualizor support.

    • Once the fix was provided, we recreated and re-delivered your VPS successfully within ~18 hours since you reached us over the live chat.

    • You opened ticket #553659 and also contacted live chat. Support responses were provided, and the case was actively handled while we waited for the virtualizor Team for a patch. We agree the delay was not ideal, but it was not a case of ignoring the request.

    • During the provisioning failure, qemu-guest was not assigning the ip so how it should respond you back when its fixed it start responding back as we have delivered a vps with password in ticket#361406

    • This order was paid via cryptocurrency. Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain payments, crypto transactions cannot be refunded back to the sender (this is standard across the industry).

We do not scam or mislead customers. This was an Hypervisor Bug most of the time they fixed it on reporting but sometime it takes time to get it fixed and the issue is triggered by a Virtualizor update, resolved as soon as possible, and alternatives were offered in good faith.

Drama aside, there is a “3 day money back guarantee” on the provider’s site - so unless OP paid monthly, I would expect it to be honoured.

The terms of service, nor knowledge base, have any sort of mention that crypto payments aren't eligible for refunds. Unless that's specifically mentioned when ordering with that payment option, then it's definitely on KWH to resolve this situation, and clarify that to make sure customers understand that crypto payments mean no refunds outside of receiving account credit.

The claim that crypto have anything special prevent them from issuing refund, is utter lie, I already provide them with my crypto-wallet from day one, and they(or he) just ignore it, everything happened to me is against them.
I'm not trying to make drama or bagging them to issue refund, but to make people aware of this scam and people wasted money and time on service not worth a penny.

You should mention this in your refund policy.

I agree with it. Read their TOS and couldn't find any mention of refund on crypto. Unless sepcifically stated, otherwise user will go with 3-day money back guarantee as default and khanwebhost should have honored it.
