  Besides kyc, the 1€/month plans are limited to 6 months duration, which requires upgrading to the next plan at 5.77€/month according to the how to order page.

  Oof, alright that's crappy, but makes more sense. I'll cross them off my list.

  Oh, you've seen nothing yet! There are routes that literally go halfway around the world just to avoid some expensive exchanges. Compared to that, Ireland to London is a stones' toss.

  A lot of traffic from US goes through UK to EU and vice versa. I've also seen traffic go from APAC through US just to get to EU.

  Even Armenia is hard to get for a reasonable price if you want the physical location to be in Armenia. Many providers just lie in their geofeed for that particular country.
