The price looks insane for abysmal specs. What's the catch here? Are those special servers in special location?

I get that Malta is a semi-exotic location but those prices would be extortionate for E3v3/E5v1 shitboxes even if they were hosted on Mars.
Datacentets in Malta are a bit pricey, last time i had a tour there was no point on using them instead of other options within EU (except maybe in some special case?), then again you can talk directly with the datacenter
The only constructive use I can think for Malta based servers is financial services / crypto brokers looking to leverage their easy licensing regime.
Clearly though, moving the threshold to $200 for dedicated server offers hasn't added any value.
