I'm not sure about the DC-02, mine is a DC-03.
well, now is reported in status page again as: Los Angeles DC-02 DNS Issue..
I hope they solve soon
Hi @elmago — thanks for flagging this.
Yes, this has now been fully resolved. The remaining symptoms you were seeing were related to DNS (UDP port 53), following the earlier mitigation steps. At this point, DNS resolution should be functioning normally again across the affected shared/reseller hosting servers.
If you’re still seeing anything odd, feel free to let us know. We’re continuing to monitor closely, but things are stable on our end now
Hi @dustinc ,
thanks for your reply... the problem seemed to have been solved, but once again all sites are inaccessible or have intermittent service...
Hi @elmago -- thanks for the follow-up.
To ensure a long-term and permanent fix, we’re coordinating with our upstream provider to transition the LA shared/reseller hosting IP ranges through a specialized DDoS mitigation service. While this is being done and fine-tuned, some brief interruptions or intermittent access can occur as routing converges.
We’re proactively posting updates in real time on the incident page here: https://status.racknerd.com/incident/3584
Once the dust has settled, we’ll also be publishing a detailed post-incident report (RFO) on there too. Appreciate everyone’s patience while we work this through, rest assured we’re staying on top of it closely.
