Dedicated server with lowest $/TB cost

NodyneNodyne Member
edited January 20 in Requests

Hi.
I'm looking for the lowest $/TB (for storage) dedicated server.
If you offer up to 30TB 1gbps is ok, but if you offer more than 30TB I'm looking for a 10gbps.
Bandwidth need to be dedicated and unmetered.
CPU need to be high performance with high core number(AMD or i9) or high core number (ex 2x CPU with 18 core each).
Also I'm looking for /27 IP subnet and /26 IP subnet prices.
Thank you! :)

This is the site I used to use to view the servers better: https://checkservers.ovh/

For example you can see the KS-3 in canada is available at 18-19 euros which has 2 x 2tb drives. I wouldn't call that "a little" storage and that works out to about a little over 4 euros per TB

Edit: I see you are asking about 30TB now sorry about that. OVH does have some servers with more drives as you can see on the checkservers site

  • I’m still looking for other offers!

NP! It used to be even more useful back in the day when the really low cost Kimsufi were around but it's still helpful. I think in the OVH thread there are some more tricks about API calls etc but this site makes it easy

I love hetzner but OVH Is a goat for not caring too much about things/being much more lenient than hetzner (which I LOVE hetzner but its still is very strict compared to OVH which is way more lenient which I really like)

OVH/hetzner are great tools and hetzner has its auction boxes which I like to view and so I had looked for OVH auction boxes too but didn't find them but I feel like the tool that you shared is basically that tool (sort of) so its great to see it! haha, its more than enough for some of my needs

What's the cheapest OVH server right now if I may ask? Also are these deals being able to be per hourly basis like hetzner or what exactly if I may ask?

  • Wait, are OVH kimsufi servers even cheaper than Hetzner auction boxes?

I have a OVH server that I use, and it’s awesome! It’s the Kimsufi KS-5, and I got it at the black friday. I got it only for 18.99€ + Vat.
I honestly don’t know how OVH can make these prices which are cheaper (only for small servers) than Hetzner. Anyway thank you for the comment, but I’m looking for high amount of storage , at least 30TB, without having to pay much, and OVH unfortunately doesn’t have great prices for Storage Dedicated Servers. Also can’t use my account because I need the business account for what I do.

Is it possible to have the 1G upgraded to a 10G with a 150TB limit?

Good deal, but the way this is phrased makes it sound like $1/TB/quarter. Obviously this is unrealistically low, but to be honest about what you're actually offering, you'd be better expressing this as $3/TB/3m or similar.

Correct, it is $1/TB per month if billed quarterly.
