  • The thing is, the amount of deals' frequency and the 'upgrades' makes things annoying.

You just put some deals with some shit-ass CPU and SSD drives for X amount of money. And one month later, now it's less shit-ass CPU but now NVMe drives for X or X+1 amount of money and it just keeps going on like that.

I'm sure the point here is pushing for FOMO and making your customers buy more than one service, but as a customer, it's just annoying.

We are currently performing emergency reboots on some nodes, we just wrote it on the status page

Raising quality is not a snap of the fingers, it will take time, I think that's clear, but I will do my best to make sure it happens quickly.

Well, I can give you an idea for free.

Stop overselling your resources so it won't be 90% steal for the users on the node.

What you are "optimizing" is overselling as much as possible on the node while keeping the node stable, so other users don't complain.

You are McDonalds equilavent of hosting yet you are trying to make it look like you are waiting for your Michelin star of your restaurant.

I understand it's not a snap of the fingers, but on every iteration, it makes worst. I'm loyal client, but I'm not happy with this. Sorry, that's truth.

Apologies. It was the V-3 series. I saw wrong. Support has replied but I still can't bring it back up.

  • Are there any plans to restock W-5 and W-4 soon? @DeluxHost

It seems that since yesterday, a few nodes have gone into power saving mode for some reason. We fixed the issue a few minutes ago. Please let us know if you find any improvements.

  • Purchased just now. Order No: 8229351083
About to open a ticket to get a BGP session going too

  • I had a recurring annual plan with Crunchbits cancelled before the first renewal date (the first and only time that has happened). I actually prefer paying a little extra if the quality is okay, rather than having a service cancelled. I have had no issues with my VPS's from @DeluxHost

is there the possibilty of improving routing and latency for the datacenter in skynet?

    Dear Customer,

With this notice, we are informing all DeluxHost customers about an update that applies exclusively to our promotional VPS offers.

In recent months we have worked continuously to improve service stability and quality, especially after some issues encountered between September and December. Progress is already tangible, and we will keep investing to make the service more consistent over time.

At the same time, the cost landscape has changed significantly: hardware resources (especially RAM and components), infrastructure, operations, and the technical work required to maintain high standards have all increased substantially. In addition, many customers have asked for more consistent performance and increasingly effective support: with extremely low prices, further improvements without any adjustments are becoming more and more difficult.

For this reason, starting March 1, 2026, we will apply a modest price adjustment to the affected offers. We are not doing this lightly, but it is a necessary step to continue providing a reliable service and improving it, while still maintaining one of the most competitive quality/price ratios on the market.

Important: what happens to services already active
If you already have an active service that has been paid for, your price and contract remain unchanged until the end of the period already paid.
The adjustment applies exclusively to new orders and renewals made from March 1, 2026 (invoices issued after that date will show the updated amount).
    Which plans are involved
    This update applies ONLY to:
VPS offers identified by a letter (A–Z)
    W Series (more powerful offers)
    M Series (more powerful offers)
Black Friday offers (dedicated section below)
It does not affect standard/classic VPS plans or other non-promotional plans.

Last 2 stocks at current prices
Before the adjustment, we will publish up to 2 final stocks under the current conditions.
After these, this type of offer will be gradually phased out, and any subsequent stocks will follow the new price list (to ensure continuity and long-term sustainability).
Price adjustment from March 1, 2026 (old → new)
    4.1) “A–Z” offers (excluding W and M series)
    0 - €5/year → €6/year
    1 - €7/year → €9/year
    2 - €9/year → €12/year
    3 - €12/year → €14/year
    4 - €15/year → €18/year
    5 - €35/year → €38/year

    4.2) W Series (all plans +€2/year)
    0 - W-0: €5/year → €7/year
    1 - W-1: €10/year → €12/year
    2 - W-2: €16/year → €18/year
    3 - W-3: €22/year → €24/year
    4 - W-4: €34/year → €36/year
    5 - W-5: €52/year → €54/year

    4.3) M Series (all plans +€3/year)
    0 - M-1: €10/year → €13/year
    1 - M-2: €15/year → €18/year
    2 - M-3: €25/year → €28/year
    3 - M-4: €35/year → €38/year

    Black Friday offers
We know very well that Black Friday offers are “sacred” to many, and we want to respect that expectation. However, when technical and economic evidence emerges that puts long-term service quality at risk, taking action becomes necessary: the priority is to guarantee continuity and reliability.
    For this reason:

Black Friday 2024: +€2/year for each plan, starting from renewals on March 1, 2026.
What this adjustment funds (concrete improvements)
The adjustment allows us to support and speed up real interventions, including:
Infrastructure and network: a data center transfer/change is planned for February, with a more powerful network. Technicians are already working on infrastructure and network to improve performance and stability.
Hardware: node upgrades and optimizations to reduce bottlenecks and increase performance consistency.
Storage: an improvement path for storage and progressive migrations where possible toward higher-performance solutions (NVMe), to increase responsiveness and I/O.
Support and operations: maintaining response times and quality requires ongoing technical work (monitoring, maintenance, interventions, and optimizations). The goal is to further improve the experience without shifting costs onto service quality.
In short: the increase is not an end in itself, but is meant to ensure a stable service that keeps improving, without compromising on quality.

    Fairer resource management (already active)
    Based on the feedback received:
CPU: we no longer suspend services for prolonged high usage; temporary automatic limitations will be applied only when necessary, except in exceptional cases.
Bandwidth: under normal conditions nothing changes; in case of abnormal usage, there will be no suspensions but limitations, in order to protect overall quality.
Customers with VPS purchased in bulk
If you manage multiple VPS purchased in bulk (multiple stocks), we invite you to open a ticket: we will review the case together and see what we can do to help reduce the impact.
    Cancellation
If you prefer not to renew under the new conditions, you can request cancellation directly from the panel, even immediately.
For questions, doubts, or suggestions, support is available via ticket.

    Kind regards,

    Shit happens. 😢

    Sure, It's Shit definitely! :'(

    Has my reward been issued

you go to your https://vps.deluxhost.net , then to the server in question - if the upgrade has been issued, you get a notification that you need to reboot it. If not - no notification. I waited a week and got one, now waiting for another @DeluxHost 1936835115

    I don't think you'll get a notification. I didn't get a notification but got the free upgrade.

    I got it twice

Refund Delay Experience with Delux VPS (Ticket #DJM-675332)

I wanted to share my experience with Delux to inform others, particularly regarding their refund handling.

I purchased a VPS under Offer Y (Y-3). The service itself was actually fine, performance was decent and I don’t have anything negative to say about the product. However, I decided I needed something with more power and, per their terms and conditions, I requested a cancellation and refund within the 12-hour window. I also cancelled the service properly within that timeframe.

The issue started with support response times and confusion. After waiting 2–3 days, a representative replied saying I needed to request cancellation, which I had already done within the allowed period. I replied explaining this. Another 2–3 days passed, and the same representative then said the refund had been processed.

At the time of writing this, it has been over 9 working days (11 days including weekends) since I was told the refund was processed, and I still haven’t received it.

I want to be clear: this isn’t a complaint about the VPS itself. The problem is the customer service side, slow responses, repeated explanations, and having to chase a refund that should have been straightforward. For a low-end provider, delays like this might not seem unusual, but it’s still something potential customers should be aware of.

Hopefully Delux sees this and resolves it soon. I’d prefer to leave this on a positive note, but at the moment I felt it was fair to warn others to be cautious if you expect timely refunds.
