Quite nice that you can play with the sliders to choose the price... But, it seems like you can only have 1 core and there's no information as to what kind of core it is. The TOS doesn't specify any kind of limits just not "excessive". With per hour instances like this, wouldn't you expect them to be mostly maxing out their core?

Product is still in alpha so all feedback is great.
I will add some CPU info although it's not going to be a guaranteed model, they are x86 based.
There is a mix of intel E3, D, and Epyc.
Options to add more cores is one of the next items on the to-do list.
We have around 1000 users live now, no one is maxing out the cores and so far only 1 resource abuse warning has been sent.
If you are using resources in a blocking way that impacts others you will get a warning but this has been built from scratch by people who know the hosting industry as a project of passion, for fun, we know what people do, a lot of time and effort has gone into monitoring and dynamic live resource adjustments on disk, CPU and network.
Ultimately if you do use CPU like it's yours 24x7 then you will end up sharing a single core with everyone else that does the same thing, you get the 'abuse core' leaving the rest available for everyone else not doing that which is 99% of people.

Not really. If you're doing hourly rates rather than monthly, you've got to expect that people will want to spin up something for a short time to get something done, and then shut it off again. Just like you can with any other cloud based service.
And if it's only a single core service, there's only so much you can do to keep your CPU usage not at 100% for the period when you're running something.

Yep I assumed the same thing, I totally get your thinking, that's why it is 1 core right now, but actually, that is not what happened at all, you see a spike for a while as it updates and deploys the os plus whatever optional recipe is selected.
Some of the nodes have 64 threads so it has not been an issue, don't worry about CPU unless you know you need dedicated resources long term, CPU is usually the last issue on a VPS node to be honest.
