I use it for over a year and have been really enjoying it.

I am missing yabs and speedtest button and a database, as well as more space for servers :D

ipv6 support is limited, I wasn't able to add it as github only supports ipv4

Good to know that you're liking the platform :)

Could you elaborate on the ipv6 support issue ? it should work fine.

I just added a free month to your account, enjoy!

Your script calls github and github doesn't support ipv6 routing, remove github if your servers support ipv6

Oh wow, I was not aware of this one, really sucks! I discovered https://doesgithubhaveipv6yet.com/ 😅

I just deployed a dedicated bucket for releases that support IPv6 and updated install/update scripts, so servers with no IPv4 support will also work, let me know if it works for you!

(I tested the full setup on an IPv6 only server and it works smoothly now)

Fixed! (AAAA DNS record was missing for api.fivenines.io)

  • Thanks worked now.

I had no way of triggerig a first syc after abandoning the initial setup.

Other issues include an upgrade button for the agent despite a newer version ad the ipv6 only IP not appearing under the instance list (for ipv6 only vps)

  • I just set up exm4 on my server and receiving these here every five minutes, I did execute the script with root so the sudo command is interfering.

    Jan 12 12:05:13 : fivenines : a password is required ; PWD=/ ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/sbin/mdadm --version

exm4, you meant exim4 ? I don't think this is related to this logs line. Did you edit the sudoers file to allow this command to be executed by the fivenines user ?

    # sudo visudo
    fivenines ALL=(root) NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/mdadm *

  • Have you changed the pricing model back again? Was looking to add a $5 pack, but all I see now is the tiered pricing again.

Yep, I switched back to tiered plans about a week ago. The pack system was flexible but ended up being confusing for most folks, and the tiers let us bundle in more features (team members, longer retention, status pages) at each level.

Happy to help figure out which tier makes sense for your setup or if you're between tiers, shoot me a DM and we can work something out.

Also, Discord integration has just been released 🥳

@spuyet Sorry for not replying to your e-mail last time regarding Chatwoot; I just sent a chat message there; could you tell me your support hours so I can get back to you if it's been a day or whatever and I haven't gotten any reply by then :P

EDIT: To add, the error might very well be on my side as my DNS has been weird in some very rare cases, but I could maybe assist anyway since I never get any error messages from the chat.

EDIT2: spuyet just tied with SolidVPS this weekend, both responding to my support requests within TWO minutes. I'm glad I at least bought a lifetime sub because this is just insanity xD

@spuyet -- I picked up a package during BF, but wasn't aware of your systemd reliance. Any plans support other distros or move away from systemd? (Alpine Linux, for example).

I’ve gotten pretty comfortable running Alpine for everything. It’s known to be a good choice for VPS but I’ve started to provision dedicated servers with it (and virtualize/mostly containerize accordingly from there).

Noticed you added Proxmox monitoring recently, similar for Incus and Alpine would be appreciated.

Just saw that Discord was fixed for me, nice :D And I don't think you've announced the non-root client, or I missed it. Regardless, two things:

    • Suggestion: Discord app without needing a server. I have one just to gather random crap and collect monitoring and notifications in one place but most people don't. So making it an app that works via DMs would probably be good - if there's a demand for Discord at all :)
    • Just installed the non-root agent on my DA storage box at Hostbrr - the way that works is a very limited shell that kills all your processes, so in order for it to work properly a cron job would be good. I guess I could run start.sh every minute but that feels kind of wrong :D

(this is not exactly how the service works but over-simplifying because it's enough to give background info for the request)
