Yeah, I think I had seen that offer, but I don't really like IPv6. The ISP I use at home is still IPv4 only and I have a handful of servers I want to backup that are IPv4 only. My purpose for storage servers is always just daily backups from all my servers and occasional restores, so having a chunk of them unable to reach a backup server without tunneling via somewhere else is a hassle. I've actually shifted away from having my backup targets in my wireguard network, because that felt like opening a security hole I didn't need.
But definitely good prices if IPv6 isn't a problem. For comparison, my current IPv4 backup servers in $/m/TB are: 0.96 (10TB), 1.13 (7TB), 1.53 (2TB), 1.79 (1TB), 1.83 (5TB).
Half of that price and will be a nice deal, even if it is in the US.

Yeah, I should have jumped on those awesome host-c deals last year. I have a fairly strict policy with new providers that I either ignore them or only get the smallest thing they offer until they've established themselves for a couple of year.
And then for storage, I'm actually less picky as I only use them as redundant encrypted borg repo storage, but I've got so many good Hosthatch deals that I'm mostly just waiting for their next deal and not really considering others too much. And so I saw the host-c deals but didn't jump on them as I'd literally just bought a 10TB only a couple of months after a 7TB deal, both from HH. But now with 4 of my backup servers on Hosthatch, I'm starting to feel a bit over reliant on one provider. I do have 4 1TB self-hosted backup repos elsewhere, but I do have 2 large datasets that I only have backed up at HH.
Yeah, also thanks from me, but probably not what I'm looking for, especially as I already have quite a lot of backup in the US (even though I'm based in UK).
For geographic diversity, I'd probably splash out more for the next HH sale assuming their SG server is on sale again at a decent price. Mostly because I barely use any bandwidth allowance on the backups, but they pool BW between servers so I can share it with my workhorse server in SG.

1c/1G/ maybe 20Gb for £4/y in Salt Lake City. Don't expect anyone to pricematch though.
