    Psybnc is an old and abandoned project
    Znc is constantly evolving and offers many more features :+1:

    IRC still exists and it is great. Problem is: most people have moved away from it towards social media with pictures and videos and music; just a few still use IRC.

    Back on topic: I use self-hosted ZNC for personal use. I recommend it.

    znc is better. and there still are some free znc providers out there

    Yeah people moved to discord, telegram, matrix, etc.
    IRC sucks in many ways. I'm not particularly sad to see it die, although the modern chat options each have their own problems.
