I've been using DediRock's Storage Promo Plus VPS for the past two months as an offsite Proxmox Backup Server. For the price, I'm very happy with it. It's certainly not fast, but it's been rock solid for two months with no downtime or failed PBS tasks. The 2 TB of storage is more than enough for my needs, so overall I'm very satisfied paying $28 a year for a complete offsite backup of all my LXC containers and VMs.

Here's a YABS test I just ran on mine.

Yea, routing is the problem. If you add proxy vps in NY/CHicago/TOronto, between proxy and data node you could get the better numbers about 100mb/s per node. I'm experimenting with two nodes last few days, and my speed for seaweeds upload from 8 to 16MB/s (4-8MB/s per node), but I think it is limited by tailscale. Now try to replace ts to zt.
