  Yeah I should have added this is exactly what I'm using right now. I picked it up during their Halloween sale. It's been working fine for the past 2 months, no complaints. It's a good price and I haven't had any outages yet. However, I'm using it as a PBS server, and verification jobs are very slow. I was hoping one additional CPU core would help, hence this post wondering if there's any better deals out there that I missed out on.

  • 1 core // 1 GB RAM // 1 TB RAID-Z 2 (ref)
  • Bandwidth: 4 TB @ 1 Gbit/s ~or~ Unlimited transfer @ 100 Mbit/s (noref)

  For $7/y more you can get this config with 2 cores / 2 GB RAM / 12 TB transfer.

  They're pretty flexible for the asking, they might toss you an extra CPU for the some additional money ... I asked them to stack 2 of them together mid-way thru the year and they did it no problem.

  You're lucky, because I tried to ask the same and got a rejection with reason, for now stacking not possible, maybe later will be available again.
