Question for Colocrossing specialist - Traffic monitoring

Hello,

Question for experienced users of colocrossing dedicated servers.
I have used several TB of traffic, but in the metering section of my dedicated server it has stayed at 0 for days.

Does this mean that I won 1 Gbps unmetered lottery ?

My goal is just to know if this is what is used for billing, or if I might get a big surprise :)

Only if you double my allocated traffic! :)

  • It has been malfunctioning for years. I always open a ticket for the exact traffic, and they are always friendly and helpful.

You open a ticket to know the exact amount of traffic used each time you need to check ? :|

Have you ever been charged for exceeding the bandwidth?

Exactly. I know this sounds insane, but ut is what it is, and it's just too cost-effective. So I take that. :D

Not yet. And now my servers are idle, w/ no traffic at all.
