I'm looking to purchase a server in Hong Kong or Japan. It should have at least 10Mbps bandwidth, cost under $50 per month, and offer ample data transfer. No need for optimized routes to China, but keep latency low.

I previously purchased a v.ps Tokyo-based product, but the bandwidth allocation was too low. Increasing the bandwidth is too expensive.

Data transfer is charged based on usage, for tokyo I guess its 0.0009USD per gb.
How much traffic allocation do you think you need then? You mentioned you had one but it was too low, but you also mention 10Mbps is enough.

I think there is a misunderstanding between port speed/network speed and bandwidth usage per month.
Looks like v.ps does charge quite a lot.
