    @HostSailor is it possible to add Alma Linux iso on the LA location? Would save some some trouble doing it manually.

    Try with linux-ubuntu-24.04-x86_64-minimal-latest-v1.gz and see if this works.

    In my case, i buy VPS with old version Linux (Almalinux 8), then VPS show wrong CPU model.
    Therefor, geechbenck score 6 is about 800.
    To fix this, i rebuild VPS with Almalinux 9 => rebuild VPS back to almalonux 8.
    Check again, It showed right cpu model AMD EYPC 9534 and GB6 increase to about 1100.

    @Andru @mijo Thanks guys for the OS trick/tip: I had installed Debian 12 and that OS image was giving me the 💩 QEMU💩 CPU, so I installed Alma 9 first, then Debian 12 back again and got the correct EPYC CPU!
    A nice 🎁 gift 🎁 for a VPS +27% faster 🚀 including many more CPU instructions! 🎅🎅🎅

    I did not have this problem with the linux-ubuntu-18.04-x86_64-minimal-latest.gz OS image on the other VPS at the same location (but I can't remember if I had installed another OS image before this one).

    I hope the quality of the Mini Sailor VPS at $12 USD is truly equivalent to one priced at $60 USD (Normal Price), rather than the typical 'you get what you pay for' situation.
    I bought an IPv6-only VPS for 5 GBP for the entire year at dasabo.com, following a promotional link from a Black Friday 2025 post on LET. And right now, that VPS is literally 'taking a Christmas break': when I log into the control panel, it shows as running normally with a bright green online status, but I can't SSH into it at all.

    Thanks, but too much effort for transfer (and support time) and knowing the WHMCS when you cancel your invoice it would not return the code to the pool of unused and it will be forever gone (c)
