Well, I'm not @t0m but I've got one too and it's a 50/50 reaction from my side. Stability has been OK these first days of running it, network depends. I've had some really bad roundtrip latency to a few of my other hosts in e.g. UK (500+ ms and 1 in 3 packets that were lost anyway), but that seems to be fixed now.
When I look to latency to a number of my other dutch VPSes, some of them are as expected (max few ms roundtrip) others are 15 to 30 ms - while they are OK from other places. I hope that gets fixed too; routes taken aren't going through strange places.
A really odd one are some Leaseweb ones; the one in Haarlem has 15ms latency on IPv6 (IPv4 it's 1.5 to 2), the one in Germany as 8ms latency on both IPv4 and 6.
You're talking latency between all those boxes and the UK? Interesting that Germany is so fast.
The latency regarding the UK one was only from/to the RareCloud The Hague one (not from/to my other ones and the UK one) - and between the default gateway from my The Hague box and my box itself. So really strange, but again: it was solved.
Alright, thank you for your elaborate info! I have one spare in HK so might ask them to migrate and run some tests myself.
Our NL location are Meppel

Want a VPS on my homelab, most exotic location you can get. Or a rasberry pi on Governmental property in Germany?
Which one is the cheese from?
Edam
north korea
i have one in iran, thats my rarest
Thanks for the mention! We have had deployments in our hometown (where our office is located) Doetinchem, we still have some customer deployments there but most of our infra is now in NorthC Amsterdam, mainly due to latency and capacity.
We use Eranium's fabric for connectivity, as you can see its backbone across the country: https://www.eranium.io/resources/fabric/network-map
I would also like to remind you that most of the networks in the Netherlands are routed through Amsterdam, so it shouldn't really matter.
You're right. It got provisioned, I've updated and secured it and then let it idle (duhh)
I can do some latency tests to/from other NL places if you want?
Thanks for the offer but I'm good. Had a spare one migrated to The Hague
cellnex.com - Lelystad
HostSlick I'm not 100% sure but I think they have VPS inside the tower. @HostSlick
Server from Rarecloud? Can you give me feedback?
Yes, not that impressed. Good offers but... Netwerk bit slow, have had servers in multiple locations. Not bad but have better at other providers.
Still need to properly setup the server in The Hague though.
