Hoping the service provider Veloxmedia can continue operating.

I spent $86 at Veloxmedia.

If Veloxmedia really disappears, there's nothing I can do. Since I paid with cryptocurrency and credit card, getting a refund will be difficult.
This is just a lesson learned: stay away from merchants that don't support PayPal,very cheap and try to avoid 3-year subscription plans.
If Veloxmedia manages to stay in business, I think I'll probably continue to support them, since their plans are quite affordable.
I hope everything is going well for Veloxmedia.
God bless him.

Good luck, we will notify the winners over registered email address.

  • Clearly he will not continue and well shutdown some crazy deals

so from Now take backups so we didn't see any drama about your data that delete without notice

  • let's go with the MJJ's note:no pp no deal

  • The service experienced several hours of interruption yesterday, but it has since been restored. I hope Veloxmedia can hold up. I've already backed up my data. > @mans_xd said:

They accepted PayPal, and i even received a refund earlier this month, before owner switch.

I get what you mean because of your circumstances, but after reading LewEric's responses in the other thread I would probably plan/expect to get fucked over sooner rather than later.

    Speculation obviously.

It's a planned exit scam. Check his older reddit offers

    https://old.reddit.com/r/webhosting/comments/1itfia5/deleted_by_user/mdu2rhy

For example, I offer clients for a fully managed option this:
20GB RAM 8vCPU 50GB SSD 5TB Bandwidth 1Gbps Port Speed 1IPv4 IPv6 /64 Fully Managed sPanel Control Panel 5 Accounts (License upgrade available)
For this I charge £45 per month so you can get a rough cost of what to expect.
Shared hosting wise, for higher resources for mission critical websites:
75GB SSD storage WordPress Optimised RAM: 8GB CPU: 6 PHP Processes: 40 Priority: High £24.99 per month
As someone else said, you won’t get high performance and low budget unless you go self managed

For example for me to be able to offer a 1.8TB SSD (RAID 1) VPS I would charge around $50 per month but RAM and CPU I’d do 32GB RAM, 12 vCPU, 1 IPv4, /64 IPv6 with unmetered 1Gbps.
Disk space is the really price hike for most of us hosts, but my servers have loads of RAM and CPUs and as much as my servers have minimum of 2TB SSD, 2TB NVme all raided :)

    I spent 38 GBP (via Stripe/visa)
What is the estimated total number of veloxmedia's clients? What would be the best-case scenario?

  • I am also a customer of Velox, and based on the situation over the past few days, I believe they are addressing the issues。
