this is too short time to inform their customer. give your customers chance to move out for 1 month. im remember when im bougt server from dedipath they give 3 months to move out when they are want to close

  • LOL Christmas 2025 season of joy and 2 days notifications deadpool.

Hey, at least here we have a company setup before buying stuff, progress.

    Update on the situation.

Anyone with the following products is eligible for a refund (please make a ticket):
    CHI-B-KVM-1 | LET LABOR DAY
    (Summer Sale 2024) CHI-B-KVM-1
    (LET Black Friday 2023) CHI-B-KVM-1
    CHI-B-KVM-0.5
    (LET Black Friday 2023) CHI-B-KVM-1
    (Summer Sale 2024) CHI-B-KVM-1

Anyone with the following will be transferred to new servers:
    (LET Black Friday 2023) - LAX-P-KVM-1
    (LET Black Friday 2023) - MIA-P-KVM-1
    (Summer Sale 2024) CHI-P-KVM-1
    (LET Black Friday 2023) - EYG-P-KVM-1
    (LET Black Friday 2023) CHI-P-KVM-1
(LET Black Friday 2023 - FLASH SALE) CHI-P-KVM-1

Offering refunds is decent of you, does this list cover all actual plans involved? Also is the 12/27 cutoff date (tomorrow) still in effect?

It covers everything. So anyone who isn't getting transferred (sub $13/yr plans) is eligible for a refund.

The first announcement was on Sunday, the deal closed on the 19th, and we only have until Sunday, the 28th, to get hardware out of the datacenter. It is unfortunate, but we were given an unreasonable deadline, and Jacek sold at the last second.

We were also DediPath clients and we had literally 5 days to get out before labor day, so not sure if VPS were different but they screwed people bad (and we were colo)

... and yet there was enough time for you to make alternative arrangements for the customers you thought would make you more money. You're framing this now as if it's DediPath's fault, and it's simply impossible for you to do anything, but they fact you're migrating every other customer that wasn't from LET shows you could do it if you wanted, and you've already previously admitted that you're just kicking out the customers you won't make money on.

It's Christmas week, we just bought the company a week ago, and we're in a rush. Of course we're going to make mistakes as we're rushing to get people's files off. You can think what you want but we're doing as much good as we can here to save clients. Everyone has been transferred, and all clients under $13/year have been emailed that they can ask for a refund, and many have already gotten it.

Asking to ban us is a bit over the top, yes we made a mistake in our response, it was shitty to not refund people, it is shitty that we're getting kicked out by the datacenter.

Also I am not blaming DediPath, I am commenting on the situation from 2 years.

We're also in the works with @Madcity to offer the lower clients refugee plans.

I don't really see why you're putting Sparked Host at fault here? The original owners of Atomic Networks are the ones who sold these yearly plans and then ran the company into the ground. Sparked Host is doing the best they can to salvage data for customers, and even refund them. Even though it's not in their best interest.

    1. No one buys Atomic Networks, all nodes go offline without notice, and all data is lost.

    2. Sparked Host buys Atomic Networks. They don't try to salvage the brand, absorb the hardware and migrate it to their own infrastructure. All customers are SOL and lose their data and plans. Clearly the most profitable and easiest option for Sparked Host.

    3. Sparked Host buys Atomic Networks. They save as many customers as they can, even when it's not the most profitable option for them. They give as much notice as possible, with a < 10 day deadline to vacate the datacenter, due to the previous owner not paying bills.

Option 3 is clearly best for anyone involved. Sparked Host really had no obligation to 'save' the customers scammed by the original owners of Atomic Networks.
