I am interested. How would the transfer work? Do I need to create an account on Bero Host to enable the transfer?

  • BeroHost should have zero rated VAT invoices/prices. There's no point paying extra 19%.

My Turin has been sitting around 2500, Ryzen steadily at 3000/3100.

Should have gotten a bigger Ryzen, can't use it as a main with only 2vCPUs and 6GB Ram :(

    I think I'll keep my XMAS one. 4 cores (2400 GB6) / 20GB / 200GB for 6.9 EUR seems like a better deal than 2 core (3000 GB6) / 6GB for 4.5 EUR.

  • @mans_xd said: ☠️ i just notice that all prices include VAT

They charge German VAT no matter the location nor if it's an EU business.

Shouldn't be happening tbh, it's not hard to implement, even small service providers have this as it's supposed to be mandatory. Hopefully they will consider this in the future.

    35.40€ / 1 year

I've sent a ticket asking if BeroHost if they can double the specs for another 35.40€. That way I'd keep the Turin and the Ryzen and ditch my RS at Netcup.

It matters. I'd rather have those 19% end up in BeroHost pocket than the German tax man.

Also, accounting wise, as an EU business, I'll have trouble with the invoice with german VAT. Idk if my accountant will be able to treat those 19% as a regular business cost, and the amount is too low to ask for a German VAT claim.

I think you can remove the upgradation via ticket before transferring. That way the new owner can add or skip upgrades as per his requirement.

  • @berohost even replied to my ticket and completed the request today. Great guy!

  • Bero is 100% premium. Experienced slight network unstability a while back - Swapped node and never been a issue since then. Support is fast enough considering it is a 1 man show (atleast at support). Performance seems solid, and prices are fair even without promos.

They even do custom configs for you via ticket. Nothing to complain about as of right now atleast. Will use bero for my main server for a while, and i highly doubt i need to swap to anything else if nothing changes.
