For those of you using the 2.39 EUR VPS, I hope you plan on using your VPS for several months.
When it comes time to renew you're going to have to top-up your account balance and the minimum amount allowed is 5 EUR, so you either deposit 5 EUR and end up with .22 EUR in the account after two additional months, or you deposit 7.17 EUR and after 3 months your account balance will fall to 0.
Just a quick explanation. If we make a €2.39 transaction on PayPal, for example, we would pay around €0.41 in fees, leaving us with €1.98. That would effectively be 17.15% in transaction fees. For a €5 top-up, we would “only” pay around 9.4% in fees, which is still more than enough.
In addition, the average price of KVM servers that customers rent is well over €5 (between €15 and €20).
