No. BuyVM simply burns too much bandwidth to make SG viable.
I have no doubt we'd sell tons, but we'd burn *** tons***.

I want to purchase shared hosting. I would like to ask which location, the UK or the NL, has a faster connection to Germany. NL

is db down on sg server?

If the limit for external domains for the smaller packages could be higher that would be even better IMO. In my opinion, limiting by storage space makes the most sense than adding limitations to things that the host can offer within that storage space at no additional cost.
Hi @Francisco - I've been really impressed with the cPanel crates (and also CraneMail!)
@NameCrane - is the free dedicated IP offer still on for 500G crates and above?
Yep it’s there.
We hope to just auto assign them soon, we just want to complete some other projects first.

it would be great if sell license for external usages also.
Not possible.
Our agreement requires it be hosted on crane or buyvm.

Any 20% off coupons being loaded?
Not in the immediate.
Main focus is a hardware upgrade (Vegas is done, NL/UK/NY in the next 60?). Mike's wanting to make some changes to our offerings as well.

I'm really glad to see another new service from Francisco.
I was a BuyVM customer from early 2019 until late 2022, and I was always satisfied with their service.
I was looking for a new reseller, and I'm happy to have found this place.
I'm glad to have come across Francisco and his team here again.
Hello Brothers in Crane,
Let me share a quick review of what I am experiencing with the reseller account. Despite of a solid infra, I am having some challenges which make me doubt the service a bit.
Challenges I face:
* Running a Reseller hosting on a Domain using Google suite MX servers is preventing the "Welcome e-mails" being sent when using my primary domain. The support says: Your DNS is set up wrong and then going on radio silence for weeks when I post replies. I ended up asking them for logs so I can debug myself. This is quite preventing me doing any reselling.
* When I create a new sub-account, I see a php error in their custom code when creating a package. Support contacted and telling me: "You can ignore the warning, its part of our code that we are working on". No, I will not ignore starting a business on someone else's development environment.
* Databases are created in MariaDB default, which is Swedish. For someone using Czech characters this is a killer combination and I end up changing everything manually when I create a DB. Making use of Softaculous also a challenge. Apparently this cannot be changed.
* When kindly asking the support if I could cancel my subscription and whether that would leave me with some pro-rata for cancelation or money back, I am told to read TOS. Fair enough, I rather get a "no" from the support as we both can have different understanding of TOS.
Why this still could be a go for someone:
* Solid infra
* Market low costs - and yes, I get what I pay for
* Great for starting and learning with Reseller, Blesta etc.
I would still consider to stay and leave my non-critical business with NC
Is there someone who is using NameCrane for their business? Just asking..
I should have said non-critical projects, rather then business.
New deals for new year please @NameCrane
1) this is a bigger issue related to us rewriting “sendmail” sent emails. DA welcome emails are sent via the node IP and it just gets really messy. The node ips can get black listed for one reason or another and now the welcome emails fail.
1b) the fix is to… probably make DA emails be sent via SMTP but that’ll require custom coding. We could make it send off the main ip but then people love to set their welcome emails to come off a Gmail and it fails even harder.
2) this is fine. It’s either spamexperts or our auto resource limits for resellers. If you can pm me the error I can explain further. I’ll just disable error handling all together so it isn’t blabby.
3) setting the collate to UTF might help, but the default is Swedish for MariaDB.
4) DA plans should have some rata there if it’s immediate.

Given the amount of resellers we have… we have at least one user that makes more off his resellers than he makes as a doctor in his country. We have some burbs here and there that we have been ironing out. The latest IO tweaks helped greatly.
