Low Cost VPS in Indonesia
I’m looking for a small VPS to use as a Tailscale exit node.
1 vCPU / 1 GB RAM is enough, 10 GB storage is fine.
Bandwidth doesn’t need to be huge, but network quality and latency matter.
Location flexible.
Any good low-cost offers worth checking?

biznet gio for $3.1/m
https://portal.biznetgio.com/user/register?sourcebn=neo-lite&next=/compute/neo-lite/server/create
Note: there's other providers on that price range. There's cheaper alternative but the lowest tier is unavailable. South East Asia is freaking expensive
IS there any avaliable IP to ping ?
https://lg.biznetgio.com/
Alibaba $9.9/y.
lightsail/alibaba/tencent is there
Try dihostingin.com
At least no issue raised from what I had tried, except for the badly Indonesian Filters against Forex and Trading sites
BiznetGio - better avoid if you cannot tolerate with low bandwidth 30Mbps
Only fast for speedtest, iperf due to the bandwdith throttling ..
Herza.ID
If you could tolerate also the suspicious of making the VPS into Mikrotik Installation
that for me its a ridiculous reason. With just Linux I could consume their 24hours full bandwidth.
Big companies like Alibaba, Tencent, and Amazon have them.
But if you want a truly Indonesian company, there are quite a few. Prices start at around IDR 50,000 (~USD 3). For example:

https://www.biznetgio.com
https://herza.id
and many more.
Does everyone,
ever tried Linode Jakarta ?
please share as I looked over the looking glass,
default route back to Singapore.
Thanks

The bandwith is 1 TB or unmetered for Level 1?
I also need this for accessing homelab and remote access via Tailscale.
Another option is Google GCE if your bandwidth needs are low (since you have to pay per GB). I use it sometimes when I need super fast routing from Indo to outside of Asia because once ur connected to the VM, then ur on Google's global network thereby avoiding occasional weird public Internet routing Indo<>US/EU. I leave it off and just spin it up when needed (via web console or gcloud CLI command). There is no cost to have the VM sitting there while off... just pay when its running. But this solution may not meet this particular need you have.
How to setup ? Not paying while off.
Oh shoot. I forgot you have to pay for the allocated disk (even when vm off). Since I think the minimum disk is 10gb, its about $1/mo (when vm off). So I guess this idea no good for the need. FYI: if you want static public IP, that's another $1/mo (otherwise it can change each boot).
The cheapest I've found in Indonesia is this one:
dihostingin (aff | non-aff): 480.000 IDR (roughly $28 USD / yr) for 1C 2G 20GB SSD & 5TB bandwidth. They have Bogor and Jakarta.
Not 100% sure but I believe 151.243.222.28 is for Jakarta & 103.167.34.141 for Bogor
that is what I remember, I thought google changed their mind.
Link was natanetwork instead dihostingin, and natanetwork didnt have any bogor DC
If talk about dihostingin, They budget line-up (bogor dc) have 3 times disk failure for year, and it needed raise ticket and they ended-up migrate my server to jakarta which only 50mbps inter port speed instead 100mbps

There also recent change local port from 10gbps -> 1gbps without any announcement
I still keep their 1.5$/m VPS cause nothing beat so far
Link to $1.5/m vps?

Sadly its OOS right now
Done Fixed, please check now
Too bad. I was looking forward to spin it for a month or two
is there looking glass for those?

Maybe I’m missing something here, so please correct me if I’m wrong.
I just created a new Alibaba Cloud account and tried to spin up the cheapest ECS in Jakarta (pay-as-you-go, 24/7, public IPv4). What I’m seeing is roughly ~$0.09/hour, which ends up close to ~$80/month (~$1k/year) before traffic.
I’m aware of credits and short promos, but I can’t find a real 1-year VPS offer at $9.9 with these specs.
If there’s a specific promo, bundle, or trick I’m overlooking, I’d genuinely appreciate a pointer.
u look handsom and scary at same time ...
i can imagein that you are standing on someones head when you took this photo
:=)
never mind me
If anyone knows of any that's located in Denpasar, please let me know
🤣🤣 Haha, probably just a Counter-Strike headshot angle — nothing more dramatic than that
