I’m also looking for one, for legal adult tho, any recommendations?
While I personally don't mind piracy, it's also not that simple.
Sometimes piracy affects the individual artist more than the corporation.
In case of manga (especially lesser known titles), I'm pretty sure the livelihood and career of the mangaka is affected mote than the publisher.
Yeah. There's no other way for youngsters worldwide to read obscure manga from decades ago.

That's why they should sell bundled merch with bonus of paperback
you simplely have wrong setup of your site, you only need a DMCA server for proxy behind whatever CDN you like, proxy server do not need much resource, 5 dollor VPS can handel 1 million visits per month easily
A $5 1Gbit VPS with a shared port isn't reliable for sustained 500-750 Mbps loads
As for visits, it would be much higher than 1M a month, but the bandwidth is usually the limiting factor
you don't use CDN???
If you're talking about caching, then I do
so you host all the medias on your server and using caching on it, that gonna need a lot of bandwidth, i understand
but you can use CDN service like cloudflare, they can caching your content on their server, then you don't need much bandwidth then, and of course, their server and network is much better than you can buy
I do use cloudflare's edge caching, still need a lot of sustained bandwidth for uncached/new content

Will do, thanks!
you are running a manga site, do you really need 500-700 mbps ? that is 60000-90000 KB/s, what is the size of your images?
They get quite large, often a few megabytes
well, it's not good, check nhentai, that's a "manga" site , just do what they do , i guess they have the best setup for a manga site, and BTW, they are banned from CF, but you can use it
I'll check them out, thanks
yeah, it's too big for a manga site, especially for mobile user, usually 100-300 KB per image
Hi,
Feel free to browse our plans. We can accommodate
Since you do cf, scw 2nd cheapest instance is ~€4/m . Peering inside dc == cf 700-800mbps with unoptimized http server. But, they're only good for high traffic content since their block storage is expensive and if you're fine with using subdomain
I see, thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out
Will do, thanks!
Hopefully that could soften the bw spikes.
I forgot, what year was it, when MD server got problems every new s◯l° level¡ń9 chapter got released

Personally i dont think its that affected by foreigners pirating their works. More like even many small less relevant ones get famous outside. Most of the small publishers get their revenue from their local fans and some tourists who go there and buy them, again which may not have been possible if piracy had not spread it. There are advantages and disadvantages to the fact that japan has not cared much for piracy outside. what kaokao i believe is just shooting themselves in the foot. Like i remember 14 years ago being the only one of the two guys following anime and the only guy reading light novels in my year in college. Today this having become mainstream and everyone wishing and going to japan is partly thanks to piracy.
You can host with us. unless it violates some us laws
DMCA is US law
You don't need a DMCA ignored VPS provider in the case your adult content is legal. Most of VPS providers allow adult content as long as it is legal.
DMCA is basically hunting copyright violators as it is illegal.
@LBant Are you able to share what provider you ended up going with?
millenial.host, has been pretty solid so far, hostslick was also very accommodating
