I forget how much it was, I just remember grabbing a handful of coins and then biking or rollerblading to the library depending on the weather. I would then get stuff printed out and then I would usually go to the gas station a block away for candy/drink and maybe a couple games on the arcade machines depending on what they were. They seemed to change monthly with some machines coming back. I'm guessing the operator probably swapped the machines at various locations to create more hype/playtime since the locals knew it wasn't always going to be there.

Hehe, I prepared around halloween since we normally get some snow, it heats up a little, and then the cold comes. I also have a snuggle bug that's kind of like a heated blanket. Doesn't need to be plugged in but it needs to be fed and taking outside from time to time

My blankets though for some reason prefer to lie on the floor than on the bed. I have tried to get them on the bed multiple times, but, they just don't love it.
If I can trust not waking up to "accidents" or a destroyed house, I always let them decide if they cuddle or where they can sleep. 99% of the time, Jessie will cuddle when it's bedtime. During the day, it varies based on what I'm doing, how she's feeling, etc. She does have her own little bed in every room except the kitchen and after I wash one, she will typically want to sleep in it. Which I don't blame her, I too love sleeping in a freshly washed bed!
Most of my dogs I've never had to worry about letting them roam free though I did have two which I had to close the bedroom door when it was bedtime. One of them would destroy the house which it was weird, she only did that at night, could be left alone all day and wouldn't do it. The other, he would always have an "accident" in one corner of the house for some reason. Again, it was only a night thing, no problems during the day if left alone, even if it's way longer than what I would sleep.
I have some dogs like that, basically glued to me except they would never sleep on the bed or cuddle up next to me for some reason. That's actually when I decided I would basically keep a dog bed in every room so they could be on the floor or in a comfy spot regardless of the room I'm in.
Oh, those "accidents." This reminds me of the time when Iet my 6 month old pupper free in the house, while I went out to get some groceries. I came back to ankle deep water in 2 of my rooms
cause he decided a tap was supposed to be left on.
Man, while we still laugh about it, it does scare me at times thinking about the stuff that coulda gone wrong for him if I had taken another hour or so to return.
I know they are natural swimmers, but, I am not sure if he would have panicked instead.
That's awesome. I did try a dog bed once, but, my pup thought it was target practice and destroyed it in a single day. He just hated it to the core.

currently i close the door in my room when going to sleep cause wife makes too much noise outside, plus she listens to these weird self-affirmation "lectures" on youtube (a hoarder wants to feel good about herself), anyway, this way only my favorite kitty sleeps with me, cause others start scraping at the door to be let out, but she thrives alone.. but last winter i would keep the door open and wake up in the middle of the night to find 4, 5, sometimes 6 cats all lined up on my little foldout couch along my body from head to toes.. that was very warm and cozy.. although left too little room to move around. but now my Mini kitty sleeps by my chest.. and later at 4-5am or so i open the door and wake up at 6:40am with 2-3 other cats also on my bed.. not always, but at least 1 other kitty def comes over. i keep heat turned off overnight, so it gets cold in living room area down to like 55F sometimes. cats really don't mind colder times, but they prefer being hot, like if they could they'd always be in 75-80F, a bit higher than room-temp, thanks to their higher than humans body temp

basically he still didn't help with server.. changed IP but did not reset/reinstall the server.

yeah tomorrow gonna try it at her place, had it mailed/delivered there cause it's like 60kg or something.. but yeah, tomorrow picking up the monitor there and maybe some other stuff she said she bought... we haven't done gift exchange ever, this is first time.. i am not big on gifts. mainly because (as i mentioned before) i have hard times shopping for myself, let alone for someone else. i sweat, get headaches, it's a whole process. but here we exchanged wish lists.. was easier..
hehe, some are that way. I had one that would chew the edges/corners, especially when he was younger. Then he kind of switched to toys/blankets instead.
Never had that many kitties snuggle up next to me, at most it has ever been 2. They are warm but def not like a doggo. Though they are also nice to cuddle up with!
hehe, my experience with racknerd, has basically been I can't even go to the bathroom after opening a ticket before they reply. For mounting an ISO, I can't even take the doggo outside before they have it downloaded and mounted for me!
I haven't really had issues with other providers but their customer support hasn't been as fast as racknerd!
i mean.. it seems this guy is just fucking with me.. why would i want to replace IP of the other working server? it is obvious this server's IP is the one i'm asking to replace.. and OS.. just damnit recreate the VPS and I will install OS myself, who cares what OS? am i wrong? anyway... just annoying AF..
maybe you are a linux pro who can handle more things than i can.. i dunno.. but basically some providers are not as good as others.. I think if i don't contact their customer support means they have good customer support. this DeluxHost constantly has problems, my servers in Hetzner can't communicate with their VPSes in NL.. or today IPV6 stopped working as usual, so i normally just do reboot and functionality comes back.. did today. both servers refuse to boot up. i filed a ticket, they replied in a few hours with "please try now"... i look - neither server is booted, neither wants to boot. i'm like "WTF? i asked you to check, so you telling me to check? couldn't you try boot them and see?" i mean, i'd be fine with "was error, reinstall OS" or something, but seems they did nothing and told me to check again.. ridiculous.. it's all this fineprint i guess that stuff sold on LET naturally doesn't include customer support.. so they dole out this stupid wisdom by the teaspoon and only after helping those who paid more. irritating to say the least.
