@hotsnow did you get that QEMU CPU issue fixed? @rarecloud I'm very certain it's some issue with Virtualizor. When I got my JP VPS, it had AES and VT enabled, and I could see the CPU details.
I reinstalled the OS yesterday, and now it shows up as QEMU...

no, there has been no meaningful progress, seems @rarecloud ignored this.

so I tried bumping the ticket once again today, and Rahul from their support actually fixed it for me! Maybe try once more.

I caved in and bought the new HK location - honestly impressed.
EPYC Genoa and 5TB BW in Asia/HK for just EUR 14 is a great deal, imho.

  • Thanks, RareCloud, for processing the refund.

To me, this is a sign you’re serious about doing business the right way and building something long-term—not just chasing quick wins. Respect.

That said, I’d suggest offering a small “make-good” deal/credit to help wipe this incident clean, because reputation is everything in the lowend space.

i know.. i look like a hypocrite. thanks for noticing. i finally got my refund and figured why not spend it at rarecloud anyway... instead of full priced Micro i was able to get 2 Starter VPS, you just can't beat the offer for Hong Kong and Japan at that price. earlier things got a little over-heated because there was no replies from them, but after direct communication with the admins, i realized that despite this current BF related situation, they actually care for their customers and try their best to do right by them. i've been a customer since spring, and currently have 11 VPS with them in total (1 free). while in the past their customer service was a bit unreliable, recently with added team members they actually do very well. it's just money related stuff is only delegated to the senior admin, who's currently very busy with a bunch of tasks, thus all the recent delays..

No, you look more like a jerk. Things didn't really change at RareCloud last 10 days, but still you had to put them down and calling their customers losers.

If you really mean that you see progress in how they work and in general you are not unsatisfied (hence the multiple VPSes you have with them and you are adding more), so shouldn't have made that remark.

Personally I can be rude also, I know, but when things are getting better, I don't stab a provider in the back. If your negative comment would have been made months ago, I can understand it, but 10 days...

    Thanked by 1bchot
  • you are correct to call me out. although i didn't name anyone losers, at least not in a way people perceive this word nowadays.

the thing is, i work hard for my money. and i kinda went full blown Caren. i apologize to RareCloud and to anyone who my words may have misled. it was angry and rude. in my misguided attempt, i thought by purchasing more and announcing it here, i was doing some kind of a retraction. i will be better. i will do better.

And yes, you're right, we really need a looking glass, just that we haven't got time for it.

    Yes, sure.
In the top right of the pricing cards you can check if you want to see the prices in USD or EUR. Our prices are in EUR, but you can pay with any currency you want, depending on the payment gateway you want to use. > @sh97 said:

Come on man … I honestly don’t understand why you’re on almost every page and every comment with the same negative take. It feels like you’re already decided on hate, no matter what we do.

Yes, we made mistakes in the past. We’ve acknowledged that openly. That’s exactly why we upgraded the hardware and changed how we handle capacity, to avoid overselling and to deliver better performance and stability. We’re not here for a quick flip. We’re here to stay and to build something solid.

That said, we also need to be realistic. In this community, expectations are often extreme: very high performance, perfect stability, and exaggeratedly low prices. You simply can’t expect a dedicated CPU core on a €10/year (or less) VPS. That’s not how infrastructure works.

For comparison, DigitalOcean sells a shared CPU VM with 1 core and 1GB RAM for $6/month, not per year. At this price range, nobody is offering dedicated cores, and we’re transparent about that.

If issues appear in time, we’ll address them, like we always do. But dismissing improvements before they even have time to prove themselves isn’t fair either.

    I don't see it, I'm a blind.

Choose Currency category EUR and USD

I've been able to see it just on mobile, also desktop version selected from mobile browser. But unable to find it from my laptop, I don't know why (I don't mind, for me it's alright in euro).

I caved in and bought the new HK location - honestly impressed.
EPYC Genoa and 5TB BW in Asia/HK for just EUR 14 is a great deal, imho.

maybe because every time you find a new excuse for your failure ?
but I can post uptime of the services you provide if you think I'm overreacting and some logs of how stable your service is running, but for that I need some time to put it together, BUT based on the comments on other customers, everyone knows already what kind of service you provide

  • @rarecloud,I just want my refund. Will I still be able to receive it in 2025, or do I have to wait until 2026?
