So are these in Frankfurt or not?
6ms from other servers in Frankfurt smells like a Hetzner tunnel to me

@Alyx it goes 8. ghostnet 9. hetzner 10. ghostnet. They could use gre ddos protection from hetzner. Or i could be wrong.
EDIT: But that would be another +5 ms...

    1. Hetzner does not provide any service like this.
    2. This would mean that GHOSTnet is a downstream of Hetzner, which they are not
    3. This would either add 1ish ms, or 8-12ms, latency. Not 6ms.

Like I've said. There is nothing inherently wrong in doing that.
It enables aspire to offer somewhat cheap and (presumable) reliable VPS, which should cover most basic needs.
But its also not fair to the customer to advertise a false location.

    Hello,
To provide a clarification, yes, we do rent our servers from Hetzner (Falkenstein), currently with GRE through Frankfurt. It should have been clearly written in the offer when posted and also in the title of the thread. We apologize for the confusion.
