With Christmas approaching, are there any special offers? Where can I find the details?

Although the economy hasn’t been great this year and my income has dropped by more than half compared to last year, it hasn’t dampened my enthusiasm for buying a VPS. Ideally, I’m looking for a plan around €7 per year with 10TB of monthly bandwidth.
I missed the Black Friday deals no matter what — I was too slow and ended up missing many great offers. It’s really frustrating.

    Hi there,

We can't offer €7 per year deals, but maybe our Pico offering would work for you?

    It includes:

    1 vCPU
    1 GB RAM
    10 GB SSD
    5 TB traffic
    1 x IPv4 / 1 x /64 IPv6
    AS203446 DDoS protection
    Frankfurt am Main, Germany
    €9.99 per year

    Order here: https://cp.inra.io/store/xeon-vps/pico

Hi, the VAT is €9.99. If I opt out of VAT, is the price still €9.99? And can the bandwidth be doubled?

Hi, the price will still be €9.99.
We can double the traffic if you are happy with 500 Mbit/s.

Do you offer a refund policy? Can I get a refund if the VPS or internet speed doesn’t meet my expectations?

Yes, we will refund any service within the first 14 days of purchase.

Wait, how do you opt out of VAT? They say taxes are voluntary but I never found a checkbox to revoke my consent.

  • INRAINRA Member, Host Rep

VAT is calculated automatically depending on your country. Therefore, there is no need to opt out.

When I select a tax-exempt country during payment, the VAT is no longer shown, but the price is still €9.99. There’s no difference whether VAT is included or not. In general, if VAT is removed, the price should be around €8.30.

We handle taxes differently to keep pricing fair. Everyone pays the same final price, no matter where they live. This way, you won’t see an €8 offer and later discover that 19% tax is added on top.

Was your company established this year? Also, do you currently have any special promotions for Christmas?

  • INRAINRA Member, Host Rep

The company was founded this year. In addition to our Pico offerings, we also offer a 20% discount to LET Members. Code: LET20 (does not apply to our Pico offerings, but applies to everything else on https://inra.io).

With RAM prices skyrocketing is a little hard to make offers.

If we manage to re-stock before Christmas/New Year will do one for sure.

  • It’s a new provider, and I can’t find much related information. It’s a small VPS company, and I’m not confident about how long the business will be able to operate.

  • INRAINRA Member, Host Rep

That’s totally understandable. We’re still growing our business, and it takes time to get everything going. Maybe you’ll become a customer one day! For anyone who’s uncertain, we also provide 48-hour test VMs.

There's always next year to try again. Maybe you'll get lucky in the Christmas deals when they get announced.

But also worth remembering that the number of $7/y deals is incredibly small. Even if you were actively participating in the BF megathread (and your posting history suggests you weren't), then you had maybe 1% chance of picking up a $7/y deal.

And $7/y deals that offer 10TB? I have 6 servers in the <$12/y range. Only one has 10TB of data and that was from Enzonix who were recently acquired to save them from deadpooling. That price isn't sustainable as it is, especially offering that much bandwidth.

This is true, I know this is LET but most providers cannot really offer $7 a year anymore, even the ones that used to host on OVH cannot offer this since they now charge money for IP addresses rather than the one time fee.

I think it is about time people really wake up and expect to pay more than the once popular $7 which was great while it was feasible but this is no longer the case for most providers, if they do this it will be on a limited amount of around 10 VPS and they will be sold within minutes then resold over and over for $20 - 30

Could you please provide a 48-hour trial VPS for testing? If everything goes well, would there be a more attractive offer available on Christmas Day?

Sure, could you please sign up at https://cp.inra.io and open a ticket for the testing VPS, stating which VPS you would like to test?

  • yes there will be special offers

please optimize the personal dashboard. When I click on ‘Tickets,’ it logs me out of my account and I have to log in again. The same happens when I click on ‘Services’ — I get logged out immediately and need to log in again.”

Thank you for your feedback. That's a new one, but I'll take a good look at it.

There some in my signature (aff)

You can request double bandwidth, not 10Tb but a good offer.
