Yeah, also depends on quality. I have a couple of Microsoft Internet keyboards which sounds like they should be awful, but they've both survived 20 years of almost constant use. I'm still using one of them but the the other was sidelined for my nice new mechanical keyboard (with the Ao key) and now I won't use anything else because I'm in love with the feel of the key bounce. Was pretty cheap too, around 60 GBP.
I do have older keyboards, but they're not really compatible with anything now. An old Dell clacky keyboard from the early 1990s that only has an original IBM-PC keyboard plug and some old Sun clone keyboard that for some reason has a PS/2 connector (they were actually designed for a Fujitsu Sun compatible machine).
