long term KVM-VPS for public teach
Briefly:
I need a server with at least 8 GB of RAM
and at least 64 GB of storage for my students. Preferably with unlimited bandwith.
My budget is $20 per year.
Detailed:
I am a computer science teacher at a public school in Uzbekistan (a country in Central Asia).
I am a fellow in the program Teach For All. (The program involves sending specialists to remote regions of the country, where we teach lessons in environments with limited resources for two years.)
I work with children from 6th to 10th grade. I also teach computer science clubs.
My students regularly need to host their pet projects. We typically work on class projects for 2-3 weeks and then move on to the next topic in the curriculum. Each student will then develop another one project. I usually delete the old ones from the server.
We use Docker to divide up each student's work. We often write in Python or PHP. I currently have a Greenclaude VPS server with 2GB of RAM, and we've reached the limit and can no longer work. Also, the number of children in my clubs is growing.
We can buy server (for my salary) or If anyone is willing to help us as a charity and donate this server for the long term, we will be sure to publicly announce your generosity, and the children will be grateful. I can provide contact information and details to anyone interested.

There are some providers giving out free servers to non-profits here. @Not_Oles knows more about it.
For low prices, I maintain the search engine in signature, which for your query yields:
If you need low latency to the server for SSH keystroke feedback, you can use Mosh to ignore the server location and abate costs, or get a server closer to you, which would be more expensive.
The cheapest KVM in Asia that I see is with GreenCloud:
If your student just need access between everyone in class and everyone have a computer. You can use Cloudflare Zerotrust to setup network between everyone and even public host within your domain
.xyz domain cost like 1$ so it very budget friendly
With that budget and requirement, it impossible unless charity/sponsor server.
We have a lot of domains and it is not a problem to host our projects locally.
But everyone is always interested in working live, displaying their work publicly online, send links to their friends, parents, check their own job at home etc.
We're developing mobile apps, a lot of messenger vased bots that students have created and are still developing.
So, we need a full-fledged server with IPv4.
Well, I'll wait and see what others say.
Try the GitHub Student Developer Pack; apply as a teacher/student to receive a limited amount of free credits to DigitalOcean, Azure, and Heroku.
Well, maybe ask your local hosting providers? https://pscloud.uz/ for example.
Hi - we could likely sort something out for you.
Take a look at https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/212694/free-vps-for-open-source-developers
I know you are not Open Source but I am sure our sponsors would be happy with this type of project (so it will be free for you).
Couple of things if you choose us1 that will last for at least a year but no static IP it all uses NAT which should be fine for your projects.
Also I am just a little concerned at 'unlimited bandwidth' - why?
Summary: we were given a very good server for an indefinite period, absolutely FREE!
Thank you to this kind person! @concept
