    I have never understood the appeal. I have seen YouTube videos of some of the limited edition dolls being bought and sold at price of jewellery or something. I don't think they will ever increase in value and will prolly die down like NFTs.

    I sometimes feel the generation gap could also be a factor. Gen-Z seems to have a different definition of beauty compared to the older generations. So, I guess, they just don't see how unnatural some of the current actors are. Might be completely off though there.

    Yeah, I think labubus and pokemon cards are similar really. It's all blind purchasing hoping that you get the one thing that is super rare because then everyone will be jealous and pay too much for it. Suckers.
