    Best bet is to use one of the big boys.
    SES, 365 etc.

    Not using SES for that is choosing a handicap.

  • but do note that SES has a strict approval process. new AWS accounts will generally be rejected unless they have past paid invoices

    Not exactly. To be accepted into AWS you should:

    • Be corporate
    • Send from 50 000+ mails per month
    • Have funds loaded into account

    At least for me this helped when I setup account in SES.

    At least for me this helped when I setup account in SES.

    They also check for domain reputation and authority (SEO factors). Most of my clients with established business websites were approved without any review.
