    A real one. I mean, I really really like real trees but at home I only have fake ones, three of them. If you use fake trees for more that 10 years, its more sustainable than fake trees... Supposedly.

    even 1 year fake tree is already saving a real tree. i don't do any tree tho.. no room for even a branch. but we do have 2-3 fake trees buried in the basement somewhere..

    it's funny, i agree..

    one time 1 of my cats had to wear that plastic cone on the neck to stop him from licking the stitches out of the wound.. so he got really upset couple of weeks into this cone-time.. and escaped from the room where he was bound, crawled into the ceiling in the basement.. you know, it's like different support beams for the floor above, and to that attached ceiling panels, so cats can get around there in general.. so he escaped from me and got in with the cone on his neck, making it very hard to get by in the narrow spaces there..

    long story short, i climbed the mountain of stuff and basically had to be on my back on the pile and my face was 30cm away from ceiling, where i tried to get him to come out but didn't catch in time..

    all this i am saying simply to underline: my wife is a very very mental hoarder.. in some rooms piles somewhat organized into boxes touch the ceiling. basement is 2/3rds stuff BY VOLUME.. there's a narrow path to the toilet that i like to use to get some alone time.. and there's path a bit further to the spot where water can be shut off for the whole house, and there i would have to shoulder my way thru.. when i moved in 19 years ago, it wasn't as bad, but the beginnings were there. we could still use living room, and 2 other rooms. now there's my room barely 10 square meters and that's it.. in bedroom where she sleeps, she has to climb over stuff to get into bed. 1 room been sealed off for a decade..

    it is hell.. to be honest.. i sometimes cry.. mostly cause i can't do shit about it. it helps relieve some of the stress. i am not proud of it. but it helps.
