Peter Griffin had a fight with Amish people. . it went something like this

This is one of my favourite episodes. ANother fave is when they made parodies of action movies including Transformers, Kill BIll, etc.> @Saragoldfarb said:

I wonder what everybody is doing

I was sleeping like a baby yesterday after a day and more of constant hyping with you guys.

Just sleeping? Is it the weekend? Just clubbing or just chilling?

I slept as soon as my head hit the mattress. Thats how tired I was.

Such an disappointment on Pakjesavond :(

Is that usually a thing on LET? Have never seen any provider offers for that specific holiday yet.

It's quite quiet, even with the giveaway happening

giveaway is over.. that's why it's quite quiet..

He prolly meant, even during the giveaway, there was an unusual quiet. Usually, we see those first 5 comments filling it up in the first 2-3 seconds.

could we ask the chef to offer more complimentary giveaways to liven up the atmosphere? :#

Absolutely! I am here and ready to hype. If we can pull enough hype, we might just get another giveaway.

    nice~

Join in, if you can. I have a feeling we could have one at page 750, maybe

  • Okay, I woke up only like half an hour ago. Gotta shower and have my breakfast. Be back soon.

the beauty of english language.. or the lameness of whoever wrote this description..

    The Last Frontier 2025

    Action, Drama, Thriller score 6.8/10
Follows Frank Remnick, a U.S. Marshal in charge of the quiet and weathered barrens of Alaska, as he needs to deal with a prison transport plane crash full of violent inmates inside his jurisdiction.

was the crash full of violent inmates? was he full (of violent inmates)? were inmates from his jurisdiction? very much open to interpretation..

I have watched Triple Frontier though, with Pedro Pascal, Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight fans, make some noise), Charlie Hunnam . Some of my most favourite actors, the movie as a whole though was meh.

So, was music the topic of interest during yesterday's conversation?

no, i was alone and reminiscent... dunno... good times all around..

You into Linkin Park by any chance? For me, they are the only band that can't make a bad song, or haven't yet made one. Loss of Chester was a lot.

nah.. it doesn't even matter how hard you try...

  • Started watching MI Final reckoning, the first hour was meh and kinda dull. You'd expect the last installation in such a successful franchise to go out with a bang, but, doesn't seem to be building up to anything fantastic. Too soon to judge anyways.

  • Was watching Madagascar 3 the other day, and only into the first 30 minutes did I realise, I have already watched this  But, did end up watching it in full.

  • Assuming no one else's here to chat with. Might just make the thread a personal diary till someone arrives.

  • Seems like if you look close enough, you can still find some e-tailers still selling RAM sticks at their old prices, esp. in UK and US.

Here is an example - https://www.reddit.com/r/PcBuild/comments/1pfgfar/why_is_this_as_cheap_as_it_is/

I would buy them if I was in the UK. Might be useful for some like @ralf if they were looking to buy RAM right now. COuldn't get the proper link for Amazon UK though, since I tried with my Indian IP

  • Has anyone else been able to snatch up RAM or GPU at good prices since the bad inflation hit?

  • Someone got this pair for 1140 pounds:-

    WDYT? Good deal?
