Nocix Kansas City Dedicated Server Long-Term Experience

I want to buy a dedicated server at “nocix” in Kansas City. I’m interested in reviews and experiences .. whether anyone has used them long‑term.

  • I used them for a year. Server was extremely stable and ticket reply was super fast. Hardware were kinda ancient but good for the price I paid for :)

  • I once had a dedicated server for BF2024 for $10 and had no problems with the server even though it was an old hardware.

  • I had a $15/month server for a few years. Rock-solid performance and very responsive support. The hard drives and CPUs were old and not that fast, but for the price it was great.

For folks who had nocix but don’t anymore, what did you migrate to?

  • All the servers they offer have old hardware, as far as I can see on their website.

Unsure about their dedicated servers, but we have rackspace with them and their DC staff is incredible. @AaronW runs a good operation there it seems.

Fast, competent support and between all of our other US POPs seems to be the most stable with the least amount of random short network issues.

  • They’re a professional DC. No concern needed.
    Nocix and Dacentec are solid

I switched to a Netcup root server. It's a bit cheaper, with better specs.
